181. I see that most of the people who read online articles take what they say as gospel. I don't see a drink in Mel's hand and how do we know when this picture was taken. One should never believe a majority of the crap printed about celebrities. Sites like TMZ publish these articles merely for the sensationalism and readership not necessarily the truth behind it. If all that was printed in magazines was true then trash mags like the Enquirer and Star would be required school reading. Many people have been caught in terrible poses off guard in a photo so judge not lest you be judged. None of this would ever be or become news if we didn't make it that way. Maybe we should all be more concerned about our own actions and lives instead of living vicariously thru celebrities.

4. alcohol is legal
i can't drink, i don't drink, but other people do, until they see how destructive alcohol is what are you going to do? What's the point? This is a catty little article, i doubt if old mel's going to run to therapy after reading this or seeing the image of himself. mel has to
his his own bottom if he's going to quit drinking. what i want to know is he's diagnosed alcoholic or if he's "a social drinker?" if he's drinking socially (whatever that is) then so what. if he has a problem articles like this can do more harm than good so what can i say!

195. To all the people who assume that those of us with no tolerance for substance abuse don't know what we're talking about, bite me! Obviously there's more than a few of us who think pampering substance abusers is just handing them a permit to keep making excuses for their behaviour. #97 and #94, how freaking dare you assume I know nothing about achoholism. My father drank himself to death and my mother was a lifelong addict. You think I don't know anything about it? eff you and the horse you rode in on. I know I've inherited an obsessive addictive nature and I know I can never abuse alcohol and drugs or go near a gambling table. It's a choice, doesn't make me perfect, doesn't even make me judgemental. The 1950's are over, time to change our methods. As to the "so what" comment about the anti-jewish remarks, I just don't even have a response for that, I'm flabbergasted.
