Vick Scores with PETA

Michael VickPETA announced today that Michael Vick, the embattled Atlanta Falcons quarterback who plead guilty to dog fighting charges, completed an eight-hour class in empathy and animal protection. A little late, no?

Vick took the course at PETA's Norfolk, Virginia headquarters on September 18, was given home study materials, and came back a third time to take a test. PETA is asking the NFL to make empathy training mandatory for all players.

If you would like to repair your public image following an embarrassing federal trial, you can find all the materials at PETA.org.

33. What is NUTS is all of the crazy people that walk our streets that support him 'just because' of his skin color? No matter what they do? Look up morals, values, high ethical standards in your dictionary and READ YOUR BIBLE

Learn how to be a leader for "yourself" instead of following losers around all your life.

36. I hope that anyone involved in illegal dogfighting, and I mean ANYONE, gets what they deserve. I don't give a rats ass if it were Tom Brady or Peyton Manning or LaDainian Tomlinson or Alex Rodriguez or Derek Jeter or Phil Mickelson or Tiger Woods or LeBron James or Shaq or Rush Limbaugh or Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton or John McCain or Mitt Romny. If you do the crime you do the time.

38. I can not believe our contributions to P.E.T.A has gone to contribute to a worthless piece of crap like Vick,he is the most disgusting piece of filth and taking up air that someone worth something could be breathing.Someday i hope he gets the same treatment that the dogs had at his hand and PETA can take the empathy crap and stick it where the sun will never shine. They should be so ashamed to use money donated to them for training for empathy pulease. When his meet his maker time comes i doubt he will be able to sucker him,

39. The societal vindictiveness against Mr. Vick should cease. He has done the crime and now he is doing the time through the loss of his lucrative profession and fines and an upcoming prison sentence. He should have a chance at reform and redemption.

40. When is the media going to stop referring to Vick as "Atlanta Falcons Quaterback" instead of FORMER quaterback?

41. I struggle with who is the most deplorable human being on the face of the earth, Michael Vick or OJ Simpson? OJ decapitated the mother of his children and stabbed another to death, but Vick tortured innocent, defenseless creatures, creatures dubbed MANs BEST FRIEND.
Its a toss up, I really cant decide who is more disgusting.
They should both rot in hell.

42. The NFL misses you Mike Vick. They were just dogs. The humane society puts dogs to sleep every day. I don't agree with everything you did but the media and America made to much out of this. Do your time and get back on the field as soon as you can. We miss you # 7.

43. all these hours he passed on that test (only 8) will never replace the poor animals he tortured and kicked, Sick bastard.

44. Uhhh...I don't know about this. So if he walks into the humane society and cases out the pit bulls he gets to bring poochie home?

And besides, empathy training for anyone like Vick would be like enrolling Ted Bundy in anger management.

The NFL knows exactly what kind of garbage they have, they just pretend they can't smell it.

45. #40-
it is wrong that dogs are euthanized every day, but they are not tortured, electrocuted and drowned first!!
My dogs NAME is SEVEN and he is the sweetest thing in the whole world.
I named him seven b/c the pound I got him from kills dogs once they have been there 7 days and thats the day I got him
Vick is disgusting and if you think putting dogs in rape stands, hanging them, making them fight till the death and have their faces bitten off then you are a disgusting sociopath also!
