Eldest Hanson Hospitalized

TMZ has learned that Isaac Hanson, 27, the eldest of the family trio of the band Hanson, has been hospitalized suffering from a pulmonary embolism, thus postponing their concert in Tulsa tonight.

As the Tulsa World first reported, tonight's show "is definitely canceled." The paper spoke with Ken Philips, the band's publicist, who said Isaac was admitted to the hospital earlier today with severe shoulder and chest pain. "This could be serious, but nobody knows just yet," and added, "We are hoping for the best."

A pulmonary embolism is a serious condition. Blood clots travel to the lungs and can result in death if not treated immediately. Isaac has been hospitalized for this condition before.

Hanson, the family band that drove the kids crazy with the hit "MMMBop," is from Tulsa.

19. Whether you like their music or not he's a young man with a new family, and those guys are some of the nicest most caring people in the business so I think good wishes would be best, and everyone can keep the one hit wonder jokes to themselves. Best wishes Ike.

28. I just saw them in Chicago at the White Sox game on Sunday. They performed 3 songs and also sang the national anthem. They were actually pretty good and got a lot of applause from the crowd. Hope he's okay.

30. Blood clot, my left foot.

Last time he had a "blood clot," it was actually blood poisoning.

November 18th, he had one. How interesting, because that was actually the day after his birthday.
