K-Fed Retains Custody -- Brit Gets Visitation

Kevin Federline will retain custody of his children and Britney will get monitored visitation -- this after a court hearing lasting nearly three hours.

There's another hearing on October 26.

K-Fed's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan says both sides presented evidence at today's hearing. He told reporters outside that he and Kevin felt the ruling was "justified."

K-Fed showed up in court. Brit wasn't there. We just got a shot of Spears gassing up her SUV at a Shell gas station in the San Fernando Valley.

Everyone is so concerned about what hottie K-Fed is receiving in child support?...why?...he is the father of children whose Mother has made a lot of money...the child should receive quiet a bit..they look happy and healthy...and, they are not being whored out to the media through their Father...

50. Good for the judge, - wise, old, owl! He's OBVIOUSLY seen this kind of behavior a thousand time before and didn't fall for the BS that her attorney's were trying to throw as excuses for her not following ANY of his orders.

54. let's hope the mickey mouse club that seems to start some of these kids down the yellow brick road to ruin, starts some type of in-house program to teach them some responsibility - apparently, their parents are dropping the ball..probably much too busy spending some of that $$$ their kids are earning...how sad

55. What kind of mother doesn't show up for the next hearing after she's just had her kids yanked from her physical custody? Answer: A sick one. I'd be there next to my attorney listening to e v e r y s i n g l e s o l i t a r y word of what was happening regarding MY children.

Rehab again? She doesn't need rehab. She needs help for all of her psychological disorders. The alcohol and drugs are just the ways she copes with those issues. It doesn't take a PhD to figure this out.

59. Kevin didn't make Brittany do the things she's been doing in public. She's a big girl, and doing them all on her own, making her own decisions. These little boys do not need to be around her now. I have not been a fan of Kevin's for the long run, but he is stepping up to the plate for his boys in this situation.
It's pathetic that so many are defending this poor woman who is controlling her own destiny, but not in the least bit worried about those children, who depend on the adults in their lives to protect and take care of them.
This isn't about Brittany, it's about those kids. Sadly, it's the best thing for them to be taken away from her, so many children are not taken away from neglectiful parents and pay their lives for it.
