Why Britney Lost Custody

Britney SpearsWe now know exactly what went down in court Monday when L.A .County Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon stripped Britney Spears of physical custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James.

As we first reported, Britney didn't follow a number of conditions the Commish laid down. But sources tell us three factors were the last straws for Gordon.

Britney was supposed to sign a document that would have given the green light for a custody evaluator to conduct psychological evaluations. Commissioner Gordon ordered Spears to get the signed document to Mark Vincent Kaplan, K-Fed's lawyer, by Monday at 10:00 AM or appear in court. She did neither.

- The judge ordered both Kevin and Britney to submit proof they had valid California driver's licenses and insurance. He also ordered that neither party drive with the children if they didn't have the proper license. Over the weekend, TMZ posted video of Spears driving with the kids in Malibu. She did not have a California license at the time. The TMZ posting was discussed in court and the Commish was pissed off.

- The biggest reason for the change was Thursday night, Britney was at a Social Group event at Sutra nightclub in Costa Mesa. TMZ shot video inside the club. Various people say they saw her drinking alcohol after midnight. According to Gordon's order on September 17, neither Britney nor K-Fed were allowed to consume alcohol within 12 hours of the time they obtained physical custody of the kids. We know Britney picked the children up at 12 noon on Friday, which means she would have violated Gordon's order.

In short, Gordon was ticked off that Britney thumbed her nose at the court. Stay tuned.

16. This young lady has been begging for help for months. Is there no one that cares about her. She cannot care for her children if she is not healthy. She is more than a star, she is a person in need. It does not matter how much money she makes. She needs help and obviously nobody around her cares. She does not need for her family and friends to take what she has done personally. She does not know what she is doing. Somebody that cares step up. Many women go through times that they cannot take care of their children. It is sad but true. Many men never even think of taking care or their children and it is "Boys will be boys". This young girl needs help from someone who cares. She is a human being not a throw away star.

18. So the only one to blame here is Britney because the reason she had her kids taken away is because the judge did not excuse her for disobeying his orders. If she had done what was ordered, or at least LOOKED like she was trying, she would still have her kids.

Britney got what she wanted - NO KIDS! Britney doesn't want them or she would have at least done one thing the judge ordered so why are people complaining her kids have been talen from her when that is what Britney wanted. Her kids are just a pain in the a$$ to her, she got her freedom, mission accomplished, she can party all she wants now and drink and drug her sorry self into oblivion.

22. Grow up, Erica, the children are too young to understand that Britney is an unfit mother. So what if TMZ played a part, they did Britney a favor, she doesn't even want them or she wouldn't have thumbed her nose at the judge's like that. She knew the rules, she broke them all, she refused to do what was ordered, Britney proved she doesn't want her kids. Go scream at Britney if you don't like it, SHE is the only one responsible for losing her kids.

24. I just read a comment about how children love their mothers no matter how unfit they are. Ture! Kids love their mothers however, in the best interest of the kids they need to be in a stable home environment with a routine and structure. Britney is clearly lacking the ability to give this to her kids. She is so needed and just wants all eyes on her. She needs to grow up and face reality that she is a has been and is now a mother and take her role seriously otherwise she will be lucky to see her kids every other weekend with supervised visitation.

26. I just want to know since when TMZ has become police of the world? You guys are going as far as STALKING the girl in a bar? How lame is this? Shouldn't you also be responsible for behavior? Leave the girl alone. You are following her everywhere and anywhere. She can't even go to the bathroom and you are following her. Did she ask you to go the bathroom with her? I wonder if Mr. Levin has children of his own. C'mon enough is enough.

27. She must be happy she's free from the "burden" of those babies. They were too much work for her. She should stick to puppies from now on. I wouldn't be suprised if she goes out and buys a new one now. My heart breaks for those little boys, they are so sweet. How many people out there would give anything to have children and now they are with a dad who only sees $$ signs when it comes to those boys. I sure hope they have someone that just loves them because.....

28. Britney there are some things you can't JUST NOT DO, but when a Judge tells you to do something or risk having your boys go live with their dad UNTIL you do, is just plain silly... Do what they ask of you, This ballgame you have to play.........regardless of how you feel about it....... Not doing these things DOES not make you a bad Mom, or anyone for that matter, but it does show that you have a problem in knowing when to do the Right thing.................The boys which are just adorable are with their Dad, it's not the end of the world at least the boys will get to have some time with their Dad. Get your List taken care of and relax and enjoy the time you have , but get your stuff done quickly and let them know you mean business. All to often in these situations couples go to court and get lawyers and have stuff happen, this is no different except we are all talking about it.. And its so hard because as a Judge, he is going of certain things, he doesn't know what actually happened in a relationship to get to this point. So Its hard to agree sometimes with what they tell you to do, but It has to be done, I know you are a good Mom I can see it when your with your Boys, so time to do the right thing and JUST DO IT..............I wish you the best and maybe I will see you out and about some day, since I am usually around the same areas, haha......

30. I believe that she pushed to see if he really would do it. She has called the shots in her career, in her marriage, with her family who sucks money out of her and with any place she goes. Britney is only 25, but she's taken care of her family since she was 15 years old. This is one reason why she soooo stubborn and won't listen to anyone. Take my word her career in on lifesupport, and doing stupid and out-of control things is really all she got left!!!
