Why Britney Lost Custody

Britney SpearsWe now know exactly what went down in court Monday when L.A .County Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon stripped Britney Spears of physical custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James.

As we first reported, Britney didn't follow a number of conditions the Commish laid down. But sources tell us three factors were the last straws for Gordon.

Britney was supposed to sign a document that would have given the green light for a custody evaluator to conduct psychological evaluations. Commissioner Gordon ordered Spears to get the signed document to Mark Vincent Kaplan, K-Fed's lawyer, by Monday at 10:00 AM or appear in court. She did neither.

- The judge ordered both Kevin and Britney to submit proof they had valid California driver's licenses and insurance. He also ordered that neither party drive with the children if they didn't have the proper license. Over the weekend, TMZ posted video of Spears driving with the kids in Malibu. She did not have a California license at the time. The TMZ posting was discussed in court and the Commish was pissed off.

- The biggest reason for the change was Thursday night, Britney was at a Social Group event at Sutra nightclub in Costa Mesa. TMZ shot video inside the club. Various people say they saw her drinking alcohol after midnight. According to Gordon's order on September 17, neither Britney nor K-Fed were allowed to consume alcohol within 12 hours of the time they obtained physical custody of the kids. We know Britney picked the children up at 12 noon on Friday, which means she would have violated Gordon's order.

In short, Gordon was ticked off that Britney thumbed her nose at the court. Stay tuned.

46. Brittany is an uncontrolled spoiled brat and parenthood arrived before maturity. She either thumbed her nose at the court and/or used the court as a way to unload her kids. Too much money too soon and too little discipline too late is her story.

47. People, people, people, she exudes all the behavior of a bipolar. Haven’t you heard about it? Learn about it and you will know. This is a woman who is clearly demonstration some very psychological, post traumatic behavior. It is obvious that she has not dealt with the post partum depression issues. Too bad Kevin Ferderline wants more money which by the way runs soon in November and he needs to pay for his high life and other kids. Watch, mark my word, he will be asking for money instead of helping the girl. He needs to stay afloat and he has no other way of making that kind money anywhere else. Disappointing indeed that he would not try to help her but think about himself.

48. Wow, looking at her pics with K-Fed shows how much she has waisted away on her appearance and happiness. She looked so good back then. It just shows what too much partying, booze, and drugs will do to someone. She really doesn't care. I wonder what she is thinking and what is in her head of hers that can rationalize her decisions. I can't ever imagine not doing ANYTHING to keep my kids.

56. It's just a media circus for the judge. If it wasn't a high profile case he would have used some common sense and realized the kids need their mother. K Fed only wants that good monthly check from Britney cause he can't do anything to get a check, you know like work. The judges and jurors in LA all graduated from the same school, opr got their GED from Dumbass HIgh School.

59. We already know why, everyone in the free world does by now. She is more interested in partying, drinking, drugging and god only knows what else. The problem here is, so is that ex husband of hers. Who wins? Certaninly not the kids. TMZ showed pics of the nanny taking the kids out for a walk. Where was K-Fed, his blistering music schedule must of got in the way. LOL......what a joke. I noticed she gave the kids up right away...interesting.....most mothers would of waited until the last minute. Its all messed up...and I hope someone can step in here and make sure these poor babies are taken care of.

60. Britney needs her Mother, This is a traumatic time in her life. I really don't believe she is a habitual drug user. I do believe that she drinks too much. But if you read up on the matter of depression, many people try to self medicate using alcohol. If this is the case she does not need to loose her children. She can go to a Doctor and what she can do is get on the right kinds of meds, if she needs them, and seek therapy. I soo wish she would do this for herself now, and I believe she will try for the sake of the kids. She has all the time in the world now, and I hope she puts the focus on herself, because she cannot put them first until she is fixed. I feel so sorry for those babies right now. I hope she is at least able to see them so it will be less trumatic for them.
