PETA Hounds K-Fed to Get Brit's Pups

Britney SpearsPETA wants Kevin Federline to take custody of Britney's dogs too. Say it with us, everyone, "Leave Britney alone!"

In a letter from PETA Prez Ingrid E. Newkirk, she writes to Fed-Ex: "For the sake of your children and the animals who are at risk while in Ms. Spears' custody, we hope that you will do the right and best thing for all involved and pursue a custody order for the animals so that your sons can continue to have the company of the animals they've grown to adore."

It is unclear whether Newkirk was referring only to canine species or other people surrounding Britney.

31. Peta don't you remember that it was K-Fed that made her get rid of the first dog because he couldn't stand the little thang. It was even said he kicked him. Then when they divorced she got a new dog. Is this just another way to get your name in lights. Wasn't her dogs just checked on by the Humane Society, because one of them got stepped on by her security guard? And they found no AbUSE. Make yourself important some other way. LMAO

41. If PETA's reps had an ounce of knowledge at hand they would know the dog would NOT be better off in the company of small children. Yorkie's, Maltese, Chihuahua's, these tiny breeds are not good with small children for two reasons; they are too fragile for toddlers and are subject to injury, also because of their minute stature they tend to be defensive around toddlers because they are insecure, thereby putting the boys in danger of being bitten by a frightened dog. I'm sure there are lots of people who may disagree because they have small kids and small dogs but I'm sure anyone knowledgeable about these breeds will agree that without intense supervision these two combos are not a good idea. I'd love to see the boys with a dog but a breed more suitable to small babies, better yet wait until they are a couple of years older. I have small dogs myself but if any of them were these breeds I would be very cautious of them around small kids. PETA keep your stupid ignorant noses out of this.

HEY FOLKS, KEVIN DOES HAVE 2 OTHER KIDS THAT ARE NOT PARADED AROUND TOWN ALL THE TIME, HE PROLLY DOES SPEND TIME AS DAD TO THEM, AND HE SO FAR, IS KEEPING THE BOYS OUT OF THE SPOTLIGHT TOO, GIVE HIM SOME CREDIT. THOSE ARE PROLLY BRITNEY'S DOGS, BUT TRUE, THE POOR THING COULD HAVE FLOWN OUT OF THE CAR, IF IF SHE WAS DRIVING, WHICH SHE WASN'T AS THE VIDEO SHOWED. ONCE SHE'S IN REHAB, SOMEONE ELSE WILL TAKE CARE OF THE DOGGIES, THEY'RE CUTE THOUGH....THE KIDS WERE MORE IMPORTANT TO GET OUT OF HER CARE UNTIL SHE GETS HELP.
