"Price" is Wrong, Says One Former Employee

Breaking NewsNo one testifies against Bob Barker and gets away with it ... at least that's what one former "Price is Right" employee says in a new lawsuit!

In a lawsuit filed today in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Deborah Curling says she worked for "Price" for 20 years, in what she called a "pleasant working environment." She says all that changed when she testified against Barker in a harassment suit that was brought against the game show legend, and that producers on the show "started harassing her in an attempt to force her to quit her job."

Because of this alleged treatment, Curling says she "has suffered and continued to suffer severe emotional and physical distress." In addition, Curling says "every morning she wakes up in physical pain due to what stress did to her body." Ouch! No Plinko for you!

Curling is seeking compensatory and punitive damages from Barker, CBS, and FremantleMedia, "Price's" production company.

CBS declined comment, while calls to the production company were not immediately returned.

And to all those who feel it is only California that allows murdering Celebritys go free.
The logic is most of the celebrity's live in LA ( Calif ) so you are going to naturaly see more celebrity trials there.
If the majority of celebrity's lived in Arizona you would be saying guilty murderers go free in Arizona!.
Also lets poll the jury's and ask how many are originally from California. Meaning they could be from your State, moved to Calif and voted to not convict.
Use logic people, It's not the State but the state of our system everywhere. Some just focus on Celebrity's which means CA.
Everywhere someone walked free today of conviction, some guilty some not.

64. He had that certain superficiality - there was something about him that turned me off. I stopped watching every show and event that featured him long ago. I preferred Monty Hall.

65. To #45 KSGirl, The NY Knicks just lost a lawsuit and have to pay an ex female employee 11.6 million because she couldn't take being called a bi**h. In Los Angeles, a female firefighter sued the city for 5 million because she didn't feel she was accepted by the male firefighters. You tell me if I am serious or not about what I said.

66. I thought it was interesting that Drew was selected for the position because of his history with strippers. I think that he'll be similar in the job as Bob. Great host material but not good quality as a human being. Character counts.

67. when i worked organized crime isn the mid-1970 [@977-78] as a san diego cop..barker's name came up as a regular at the playboy mansion. he insisted on sodomizig the youngest girls at the mansion. all the girls hated him for this practice and the fact that he felt he was entitled to this practice because he was in his mind a hollywood STAR...when in fact he was a hacker on a mindless daytime game show...just thought you would like to know..he was a legend in his own mind....tommy

73. When women strut around in skimpy, tight clothes stroking products and allow themselves to be called "Barker's Beauties" they, like strippers, "exotic dancers" and Playboy Magazine posers, perpetuate the concept that women are parts, objects for men's pleasure. I am pretty, dress well, love men, and I don't want to be a man. But I want to be equal to a man, and I never will be, if this objectification doesn't stop. Shame on the women who make it more difficult for women like me, and shame on Barker and other men who use women in this way!

74. Our broadcasting service should have taken that jerk off the air years ago when allegations popped up about his harrasment of female employees. I hope Curling wins and wins big they damn well know what he put those girls through and got away with it all those years in front of America. Too damn bad he wont spend time in the slammer with some guys who could teach him manners around women and show him he was not a God only with the broadcasting company who put him there and put all those women looking for a better paying job................BOB will be remembered as the preditor that was given a format to do his dirty business in front of tv and millions of americans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always laughed at his racism - whenever a black female contestant would try to hug him, he'd cringe and shirk away to avoid her, and them make a joke about not wanting to get hurt.

But he always let white women hug him......

It was just too obvious.
