Kat Von D and her boyfriend got matching tattoos with each other's names on them -- but they've only been dating a month!
While most would wait more than 6 weeks to brand their lover's name onto their skin for life, the "L.A. Ink" hottie and her long haired, Shaggy-like boyfriend showed off their new unicorn tats at a Rolling Stone Hot Party last night.
Perhaps a tattoo removal show is in the works.
UPDATE: Thanks to astute TMZ reader Pam, we've been able to i.d. Kat's new man. He's Alexander Orbie Lee Kelton Orbison (yes, that Orbison) and he's the drummer for Cisco Adler's band Whitestarr. Who knew? Oh yeah ... Pam.
UPDATE #2: Kat was on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" last week and told Ellen she'd never tattoo a boyfriend's name on any of her clients if it were a new relationship. Someone doesn't follow their own advice!

What I love about this is that I found this link through Kat! She's a grown woman. She can do and will do what she wants. Doesnt make her any less of a good business woman or any less amazing as a tattoo artist. Some of you should learn that not everyone thinks like you or really cares about your opinions. Why not go out there and make your own headlines rather than bash people who are obviously already under enough media scrutiny as is.

Awww, I think Kat is awesome. Everyone has to know that any reality tv show is not going to show you the REAL person from your screen. You'd have to know someone in person to really say things about who they are. Otherwise, you just have a perception and probably an ignorant opinion to go along with it. All I know is I watch LA Ink for the art, just the same as I watched Miami Ink. They are all awesome tattoo artists and I personally get a lot of inspiration in becoming a female artist from seeing Kat work.
Oh, one more thing... I don't see it as a big deal for people to get a name tattooed on them if that person means a lot , even if it's not FOREVER. Most people aren't FOREVER if you haven't noticed in your own lives. But they still can play a huge role in your life for the time that they are a part of it. You'll always have the memories and sometimes be who you are today because of people from the past... it's just a tattoo, a small part of someone actually being in your life. So put on your big girl panties and deal with it!
Who the hell cares what she does? It's her damn body and nobody here is perfect so you shouldn't be out making judgements because remember that will come back to bite you in the ass! If you don't like her show, what she does or how she lives, DON'T WATCH THE SHOW! It's that simple. I had the chance to personally meet her at an auction she held for a good friend and she's about the most down to earth person I ever met. Remember, those TV shows are editied so that they can build a character!

Kat is an amazing tattoo artist that got in with the right people. To all you people that say "she is going to look like hell when she is 60" , regardless if you have tattoos or not, anyone is going to look like hell. Do you really think that anyone who is 60 or older is going to be flaunting their entire body to the public. So to all of you that are living in the past and call her a freak show, get over your time, realize that its now 2007.
