Britney Comments on Her Kids

31. According to the legal docs posted by TMZ....

"The parties will continue to SHARE joint legal AND physical custody. The minor children shall remain in the custody of the Respondent (Kevin) with the exception of those specific dates and times as ordered by the Court in the transcript of the proceedings. Pending the further order of the Court, all visitation with the Petitioner (Britney), shall be in the presence of a monitor. The monitor shall be EITHER the professional designated as the Parenting Coach by the Court, a monitor selected by the parties from the approved Los Angeles Superior Court list OR an individual stipulated to BY the parties in writing.

For all of you who can not put that into plain english. That means she continues to share joint custody, but she can not have the kids by herself. Who monitors her can be decided between the two of them. So if they BOTH agree that Alli, or whomever, is capable of monitoring, then all is well.

If she thinks she has the kids when in reality they've been taken, did she think they were gone when she had them? Just how much danger were those babies in?

33. Did she ever really want those kids? It doesn't look like it does it? Her career is over...and it wouldn't surprise me to see her die before she's 30. The high price of fame.

34. Sorry #18, thats not the way it works. Grandparents do not have alot of rights. Kevin will keep the kids, So far, no reason not to.

35. Britney doesnt want the kids. Where did everyone get the idea that she did? She did everything to get rid of them and nothing to get them back. She realized a single mom of 2, is not the catch she thought it would be. It looks a bit better in her mind to have them TAKEN from her rather than admit she doesnt want to care for them, and gives them up.What would her fans say then? Justin's mother is thanking GOD that he dodged THAT bullet....

36. It's like she's in this tiny bubble of fantasy with that little pathetic group of paps flashing away--in her mind she must think she's the biggest star ever. I agree, the paps should boycott her for one day to see how far she will go with her boring and do-nothing life to get their attention. She is crazier than people can even imagine.

38. sombody is right here how can anybody stand flashing bulbs in her face 24 hrs a day .i know i would punch one of them after one day of this .i work in the industry and i am on the outsisde and what i see is not right there is no law saying photo people need to stay a distance from who ever they are shooting .hell they are in the window in the car i would bump into a car if i had that much flashing going on .knowbody can concetrate with all that going on .i know everybody reading this has had a moment that a driver or even trafic can make you do things just to get away from the problem

41. #36 - Gregg is very right about one thing, the Photographers get much to close, and will cause a serious accident one of these days due to there out of control and irresponsible behavior. (Take a good look at Princess Di's Last pictures, you can clearly see the Photographers surrounding the car.)
However, Britney is now in a serious legal situation, with the balance of parental rights now tipping toward Kevin Federline and yet she has done nothing to appear to care about her children. If it were purely about the drugs and alcohol Ms. Spears could go on a bender for weeks if not months on end, inside her own house and no-one would know. She chooses to go out in public and feed the media frenzy. She could easily afford a professional driver, hell one who has tinted windows so that the cameras can't continually go off in her face. Yet she chooses to drive herself. She could hire someone to actually maintain her car ( A novel thought) to make sure it always has gas, good tires and is properly serviced. Every other parent in America is responsible for the condition of there vehicle, except for this twit. She chooses to act in this manner. She is addicted to the Fame. She loves the photographers and she loves all of the attention, apparently more than her family.
Yes she has the right to do as she pleases, but common sense should guide her as well. A commodity she does not possess. As for the joint custody, Please this weeks ruling by the judge definatly did not work in her favor. What decent mother in the world wants to share custody with an Ex while having to be judged and monitored during the entire visit. Celebrity or not, the courts in California when they start to find a parent unfit and take away any level of custody are not easily swayed to restore it. Britney will have to do some mighty fine acting to even get back to 50/50 joint custody without a monitor. Make no mistake about it, for Britney this situation can get much, much worse.
