Britney Spears -- Hotel Mommy

Multiple sources tell TMZ that Britney's first scheduled visit with her children since being stripped of custody was a disaster.

We're told Spears was to have a scheduled visit with her kids at 10:00 AM Thursday, surrendering the kids to K-Fed later that day. Sources say on Wednesday night, Britney decided she wouldn't see her children at either of her homes -- instead, she wanted to visit with her kids at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. We're told K-Fed's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, went ballistic.

The way we understand it, a parenting coach was supposed to be present for the visit, and Kaplan felt it was appropriate for the coach to counsel Britney on how to take care of her kids at home -- not at a hotel.

We're told Spears, who checked into the Beverly Wilshire Hotel at 6:00 PM Wednesday and then checked out at 2:00 AM Thursday, went back to her Malibu home and decided not to fight for her desire for a hotel visit with her children.

At 10:00 AM Thursday, the scheduled time for visitation, a K-Fed bodyguard arrived at Brit's Malibu home and rang the buzzer. He waited forty minutes -- but no one came out. With the kids inside the car, we're told the plug was finally pulled and they all went back to K-Fed's.

64. Hey Sheza, are you serious? SHE did this to herself. Making a big spectical out of everything including shaving her head and the horrible trashy new video she has. Keving never ever has those kids in the public eye and he makes sure that Brit's family is invovled in their lives. Get a clue.

65. This is just another child star crash and burn. Only this time she is in a fish bowl. She isn't the first, won't be the last. Maybe if the photogs would ignore her she will see she needs help. She's enjoying the attention. Just like a little kid even negative attention is better than none at all.

66. Althought this probably won't be posted since they only like postive feedback to their articles. This is one, not an "Exclusive" report, it was first reported yesterday by X17.com, and if you had all the facts you would know that it was K-Fed's mistake as to why the visitation didn't go down, he sent the kids with his bodyguard on wed to the wrong home! And the attorneys rescheduled the visit for the following day and it took place without incident.

I hate your own personal twists and lack of facts in your articles, your site is really losing credibility. It it no longer my number one source for information as I've found a lot of untrue statements or not all the facts in your reports.

72. good gawd... she so clearly has no connection with those poor kids... they are like some accessory she picked up at fred segals... too bad no one ever taught her important lessons like "consequences" and "responsibility" and "self-sacrifice"... i know she aced the exams when it came to "skanking it up" and "random sex partners" and "insecurities that drive you to be the center of attention." if only she could do one ONE selfless act... you would think spending a day helping out at an animal shelter or sorting clothes at a salvation army would go a BILLION miles in terms of her own growth and public opinion...

ps i know those hangers-ons are getting something out of being with her, but WTF? she must be the most unpleasant, whiny, indecisive, uninteresting person to be near...

Kevin...be careful...don't tell them they are going to see Mommy...don't know what to say...except make sure your are getting advice from a child psychologist so that Miss Britney's actions do not permantly damage those children. Ages birth to three years old shape the psychological base of a child's future. What Britney is doing to her children is doing irreversable damage. I have been a huge Britney supporter, but this is just way too much. God bless those poor children.

75. her video is Terrible! if she wanted to play the role of a stripper she should have worked that pole over nine to five. instead she just held onto it and "sang". BORING! and who was holding the camera, a five year old????? i was sea sick from the motion/shakiness of the video! Brit could have really vamped up the stripper role, ie: lap dance, kick that leg up over her head, do that slow slide down the pole upside down with legs in a split, but she did none of that! it was awful and BORING!
