DMX Animal Cruelty Report Results

Authorities investigating animal cruelty allegations on rapper DMX's Arizona property have issued their gruesome findings.

The investigation stems from an Aug. 24 raid of DMX's Phoenix home, where police were probing reports of animal neglect. Police seized 12 live pit bulls, numerous weapons and about a quarter-ounce of marijuana.

Now forensic reports from a veterinarian examiner from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office states that the condition of animal remains found on the property were "significantly decomposed, the head and rear quarters and legs had a white trash bag around them; the body was wrapped in a dirt-stained beige fitted sheet and inside a clear plastic bag; all placed inside a white body bag." The forensic report also stated that "severe decomposition prevented further examination." There was determinable evidence of injury to just one set of remains.

A detective's summary of the cruelty allegations lists seven different visits to DMX's home, from August 3-22, with several attempts made by the County Sheriff to resolve the issue of alleged neglect of dogs at the residence. The detective actually gave the dogs water. Finally, after no improvement of conditions, a raid took place August 24, seizing 12 pit bulls.

No charges have been filed against the 36-year-old rapper. The matter is still under investigation. Click here to view the documents.

16. #12... you love dogs?? These people that own rotweilers, bull mastifs and pit bulls train and breed these dogs to be mean. They are not naturally mean dogs-- it's there owners who control whether or not they are mean. You contradict yourself when you say that you love dogs but some should be put down. The "mean" ones. Really sad.

18. #13 don't get baiting into a race situation, because this is not that it's a abuse situation. DMX, (whatever his real name is) is nothing but a thug and low-life piece of vile feces!!!

20. Is anyone realize that many criminally mentally ill people start out by killing and torturing animals then they just move on to people. How do we still allow these "famous thugs" to walk around in society and be OK with it?? i.e. OJ???? Then there are those sickos that still think they are wonderful because they did something to make themselves famous? They all have the ability to murder!! They prove it in public but if they have enough money they can get out of jail or even hire the best of the best attorney's to never go and we as a society are OK with that? What is wrong with us? Throw these people in jail and let the dogs in jail do back three-fold what they did to these poor animals!

21. I WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREE WITH #15 - ACTUALLY IT WOULD BE BETTER IF DMX WAS BOUND AND TOTALLY UNABLE TO MOVE WHEN THE ATTACKS OCCUR. NOW "THAT" WOULD BE JUSTICE...

22. These thugs are evil monsters. They deserve to be locked up. Too bad we don't believe in an eye for an eye. I'd gladly stand in line to beat the s**t out of them, then leave them laying there with no help. My family and I are such dog lovers. We've recently lost our two wonderful labs and our hearts are so broken. I can't imagine abusing dogs. They give the only unconditional love a person will ever get in their life. It just makes me sick. I recently signed up with the ASPCA and PETA to get info on helping stop animal cruelty. Maybe I can help in a small way!

23. These social misfits need a felony sentence that entails years of cleaning up animal feces and caring for abandoned animals at an animal shelter somewhere. Empathy might bitchslap them in the head while seeing what these naturally noble yet dignified creatures live through.

24. I don't think any amount of time doing community service with animals will have any effect on these sociopaths. There is something wrong with a person who can treat a companion animal that way. Better to throw them in a jail cell, assign them to latrine detail and make sure they pull a long inmate train regularly.

I hope that any careers they have had in the past are ruined forever. That's the least of what they deserve.

So, Whoopi, this is their "culture"? Well, it isn't working for them. And, it happens to be against federal law. What a stupid excuse.

25. #16 I agree with you! #12, I personally own French Mastiffs, and a Pitbull- they are beautiful, powerful dogs that are not only loving and loyal to me, but my children as well- I feel sad to know that people mistreat these dogs, sire them in an inappropriate manner, and abuse them for their own selfish purposes! They are like children- how you raise them is what they will become- you have to use proper discretion when you let your children interact with ANY kind of dog- I have had small chihuahua's try to bite my dogs and children around me- Don't just blame these kind of dogs! If you look at the statistics, it isn't pitbulls that are the number one biters in this country! They are just the ones given the most media attention!

26. Their were 7 seperate visits by County Authorities to this mans crib and he still didnt take the steps needed? There goes the "I didnt know" defense.

Let Sherrif Joe of Maricopa County get his mitts on this guy when he gets sent to Tent City awaiting outcome of the State and possible Federal Charges that will come.

DMX wont be quite so tough and love acting as he has been in his music.

If Vick turned him in, well than there probably is State Lines being crossed charges which makes it Federal as well as State. Have fun serving twice the amount of time for such stupidity.

Whoopi and the others claiming "Culture" is to blame need to hush up.

27. How can anyone no matter who or what you are, abuse these innocent animals? You absolutely have to have no heart, no feelings, just dead inside to torture them the way you do. I'm talkin' to anyone out here that participates in something so cruel and ugly all for personal money gain. Have you ever sat down with an animal and looked into their innocent eyes and felt your heart skip a beat? Have you ever come home after a long day of our stress filled lives and been greeted by the very best friend you'll ever have? That dog, cat or whatever welcomes you at the door would do anything for you, they have no prejudice, or hatred, all they want to do is make you happy, wag their tail and offer you all the love in the world. My heart breaks when we find out you celebrities, are actuallly so cold hearted and ugly inside. We support you by purchasing your product and enabling you to purchase mansions and vehicles and live your extravagant lives, and you turn around and present to us an abusive and ugly side that we never saw coming. I would like to see you lose everything you ever gained by your fan support than to see you ever make another dollar. Your next year of wages, royalties, etc. should be donated to Animal Abuse Shelters and Animal Welfare Programs, and be done by you personnally just so you realize what you have done and an apology letter accompanying every check!!!!

30. BTW they didn't find Pit Bulls. They were Bull Mastiffs. That's a different breed of dog.
