Britney Wants Job As a Bartender? Huh?!

Britney SpearsA court-ordered-sober Britney Spears applied for a new job on Thursday as a ... wait for it ... bartender!!

Sources inside the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica, Calif. tell TMZ Brit checked in Thursday and at around 10:30 PM went downstairs and started talking with a bartender.

We're told Spears told the bartender she wanted to do what she did -- then asked for and obtained an application from the night manager to work in the hotel's "Cameo Bar."

We're told the application is currently with Human Resources. The hotel website says the bar "serves imported and California wines, premium well drinks and appetizers ... signature drinks include Blood Orange, Key Lime and Raspberry Lemon Drop martinis."

This might be the worst possible gig for a mother trying to regain custody of her children, who is required to undergo drug and alcohol testing.

Spears checked out the next morning. No word yet if the hotel is considering hiring Brit Brit to pour their booze.

287. It is obvous, Britney simply does no want her kids back. I don't think se could make it any morebvious. You know, you have to get a license to drive a car but to do the most important job in th world, all you have to do is have sex. How many chances does she get to straighten up? Anyone else would have been chastised more by the Judge. As a Licensed Counselor, I have seen this first hand. Why does she deserve any better treatment. She is no more special than you and I. She simpy has a different job. She is not royalty people! I would not want her as my parent and have to see this after I grew up. Makes me that much more thankful for the Mom I had. If she really wanted her kids, she certainy would not be trying toget a job in a bar. Now that will certainly impress the Judge..NOT!

It would be hard to believe this story as she is suppose to not be around booze and she makes 750 thousand a month...why would she want to do that? 298. maybe if every one left her alone for awhile and she didnt have all the spot light for a change then maybe she would straiten out a bit seeing that this behavior isnt getting her any where any more. as for her behavior with the kids yes it is repulsive but i know a mother that is just as bad of a mother. i worked for some one for four months and when i first started the youngest was just turning one that week and the oldest was two for a 1 year old she should have been taking her first steps and starting to walk not me having to teach her how to crawl there mother would leave them with me from 7 am or earlyer some times and come home some times 3-4 in the morning if at all i also spent 3 weeks with them in vegas visting the grand parents and in that time the only time she spent with her kids was to go see 3 movies with mcdonalds before hand dinner with the grand parents twice and about 2 hours to look at christmas lights the rest of the 3 weeks i had the kids 247 when she would come home others would tell me the baby sitters home for the sort time she was home its never good when a 1 year old looks at her mom and cries at the door for the baby sitter not to leave and starts calling that person mom this family is not famouse or have millions of dollars and no she did not pay well at all but with all of this you do not hear about this mom on the news and on tv or in magazines for her behaviore im not saying its right but it happens every day not just by the publisized
