R&B diva Toni Braxton celebrated her forty-first birthday yesterday at Mr.Chow -- and Ms. Lady looks fabu!
There was an A-list turnout for her intimate dinner, including music mogulsaurus Clive Davis, mega entrepreneur Russell Simmons, and gorgeous actress Jenifer Lewis. And the rich folks can eat! At the end of the night, TMZ took a peek at the table's bill -- a whopping $2,933.80! Holy eggroll!
For such a small group of people, these folks did some major damage! Un-break the bank!
31. This may come as a surprise to some; But many celebrities, rich people and even big businesses often pay bills late or not at all. A major reason is that unlike most people who pay the same 5 or 6 bills every month, around the same time; These people get hundreds of bills, at various times of the month. Often these bills are sent to a bookkeeper or accountant. Some celebrities never even see the smaller bills. A notable exception are those celebrities who insist on signing "all" of their own checks.
An accountant will often delay or recommend the delay of payment to verify a bill. Celebrities are often overcharged. A good bookkeeper or accountant may even recommend the delay of a payment reserve cash flow. Being rich does not always mean having lots of liquid cash on hand. I personally know lots of wealthy friends that own millions of dollars of assets but from time to time they may have very low amounts of cash.
As for her bankruptcy; Toni is not the only person to file bankruptcy to be relieved of debts she could not pay at the time. Part of filing was so she could get a new start. I also believe she did it to get out of a enslaving contract in which she was not making as much as most people think she was making. Bankruptcy gave her breathing room and a new start. Now she's doing better. Posting TMZ will not get you paid, so move on.
Lastly, I hope for all of our sakes the day will not come where we are personally responsible for what our brothers and sisters do; Or what they are accused of doing. Happy Birthday Toni.
32. To #1, if you were a real creditor, then you would be fired as you would be breaking the law as you can't put out personal information or make threats like that.
As for Toni's money trouble, who cares. Its none of our business and besides, we all have our money troubles!
As for her looks, let me say this. At 41, she still looks great and I would still bang Toni over most of the young talent (including Brittney, Beyonce, Ashanti and Ciara) any day!

34. It kills me that whenever black person is featured on the site, there is some kind of racial comment. For some reason it can't be solely based on their talent. Paris hilton is the QUEEN of weaves and when she's featured, it's not like "...that spaghetti string, yellow-haired, pasty-skinned, long-nosed bi*ch ." I don't hear,..."without her weave she looks like a old , white witch." Everybody is mixed with something. Love yourself! Thhat's the only way to be truly happy!! Wow, I really gotta spread some love today.... #1 is just rediculous... Maybe you need a weave... Leave Toni's alon 'cause you really can't even think about affording the one she has--you $8.50/ hour creditor!!! Take that!!

37. #34 - You got one part right. Beyonce and Ciara are younger. That being said, if you would've put Toni Vs. Beyonce Vs. Ciara at the same ages, Toni could've easily held her own against them in terms of looks and sexiness. I still say at 41, she still holds her own with them!
In terms of singing talent, neither one touches Toni (though Beyonce does come close). While I wouldn't kick neither Beyonce or Ciara out of my bedroom, Toni could still get some from me now at her current age!
Finally, I think that comment about relatives says more about you than the rest of us that are sticking up for Toni. I am not a militant black like Dr. Blackgirl but IT IS funny how everyone is pointing out Toni's past financial troubles when Donald Trump has had some of the same woes but no one says a damn thing about him! I also found it funny how when Toni was a bit sexier for a time, she was labeled a whore yet Madonna did the same thing in her heyday but not only did they NOT call her a whore, they called what she did genius! There is definitely a double standard there.
38. Toni Braxton works very hard and looks more beautiful than the typical (beyonce for example). I have been 1 of Toni's BIGGEST fans from day #1..She been thru her ups n downs but she's still here doin her thing and doin it big..#1 Agency go find something to do with your time, like learn how to spell..Go pay your own bills and stop worrying about her pockets..Jump off that bridge 3 times.
