Kiefer SutherlandThe lawyers in the Kiefer Sutherland DUI case are in chambers right now, explaining to the judge that they have reached a plea deal. Sutherland is not present.

Although I love his acting ability........he is very talented! The fact that he is not a US citizen, and FOUR DUI'S...........he needs to be deported back to canada. And not permitted to live in the US or conduct business here. WE have enough idiots already!

Say what??

At least he's taking responsibility for his actions. Good on ya, Kiefer! Hopefully he'll learn his lesson, and no more drunk driving.

I know people that have 5+ DUI's that have never seen a day in Jail... I think that because of the celebrity status they get treated a bit differerntly. We will say though that we belive after your first DUI you should have your license pulled for a min of a year. Anything after that is mandatory jail time. DUI's kill people! LOCK EM UP & REVOKE THEIR LICENSE'S

#5 - my comments were nothing to do with racism. But how can anyone defend him by saying " At least he's taking responsibility for his actions". That would have meant he stopped drinking and driving after One DUI, NOT FOUR!!!! Either send him to prison, or deport him. I believe he should be deported. Does he need to kill someone prior to people realizing drinking and driving is deadly???

7. OK thanks - in the northwest the racist illegals are amazing - on the loose & hating non hispanics & far too many DUI's = plus taxpayer cost to lock them up.

DEPORTED???? Come on.

Everyone is always soooo up in arms over DUI. Get real. Yes, drunk drivers kill people, but so do tired drivers, and so do distracted drivers (cell phone? big gulp, anyone?)

I think it's stupid to drive drunk, but mostly b.c. it's against the law and a big PITA if you get caught...i think most people who get DUIs are NOT wasted, b.c. the BAC levels are fairly low. I know people who have gotten DUIs after dinner, if the cop felt like it. Also, I think we should all collectively drive safer.

But deporting? It's so dramatic, it's silly.

#11............wow your insight on DUI's is something! Is this coming from someone who has a few??? My brother was busted for one DUI..........slap on the wrist. One year later hi was drinking a driving again........not so lucky. He killed himself. D&D is not like drinking a big gulp or talking on your cell phone and driving. Stop making excuses for this type of behavior!
