Security Gets Smackdown, Thanks to Scarlett

Protecting Scarlett Johansson was a tad rough for the security team at Osteria Mozza last night, when one of them ended up getting knocked on his ass.

TMZ was in the back parking lot of the restaurant as the busty "Match Point" star tried to sneak out. Restaurant security surrounded her car and tried to block the shot, with the staff urging paps to "step back off the property." One guard got too close to one photog and got shoved to the ground, setting off a screaming match.

Sensing it was a good distraction, Scarlett took the opportunity to make her escape -- hidden in the back seat of the car as it pulled away.

16. Moron. David Rocksoff. Go stand guard at Shakey's, douchebag.

17. Oh my God People must hate this douchebag. I've gotten this clip emailed to me 4 times since yesterday. TMZ should do a follow up story on Hollywood's lamest restaurant manager. Nancy Silverton should have his ass begging for a job at Shakey's by the end of the week.

18. Ha ha. I just got this video emailed from three assistants at my agency. Ironically, i had just made a reservation for my boss (high powered agent at CAA) and then I sent him this video and he's laughing his ass off. It's spreading like a Lindsay video around here. I think this guy must have a reputation for being a prick.

19. What is his name again?

20. His name is David Rossoff. Or Douche Nozzle as he is apparently known around town.

21. Can TMZ please get some footage of David Rosoff getting punched in the face after this? Oh my god it's so great to watch the little bald man crying. Please tell me you have footage of it! Maybe Rosoff should get of the property permanently!

22. I agree with chowhoud, the scene at that restaurant is totally chaotic. I've heard nothing but complaints about the management from all the agent's assistants around town. NOT a place for Scarlett or ANY celebrity. They don't have the management style for the star scene.

23. Also, I heard through my assistant that David Rossoff's valets totalled this big studio producer's prius and got into a scene with him, I guess David kept saying "not our responsibilty, man!" and got in this exec's face.

24. Apologies, but it seems to me Rosoff was simply doing his job. Perhaps your town`s values should be questioned. What a bunch of wankers you all are. At least Scarlett appreciates good food as I do when I am in town. Not too many options I am afraid. Mozza may be a pizza joint, as one respondent puts it, but good pizza is good pizza is good pizza and aside from Mozza, LA offers little but unnecessarily busy food with few brains behind either service or concept.

25. ...re-reading. What is the star-scene? Sauce on the side and lackies in stilletos? Execs, agencies, power...yeeha...nobody has mentioned good food. Mozza and Osteria have it in bounds.

26. I agree with Ned regarding Los Angeles eating - at least among the more expensive restaurants. One of the worst restaurants you could possibly imagine is Campanile. 20 Bucks for a grilled cheese sandwich? Are you kidding me?

Pizzeria Mozza isn't bad, but Osteria Mozza is wildly overrated. The Los Angeles area has some of the best ethnic eateries in the world, especially Thai, Korean and Mexican. But if your palate has been limited by Occidental prejudices, I suppose the "Italian" food at Mozza seems good. Don't miss the four cheese ravioli at Maggiano's, Ned.

27. Oh Ned Goodwin you Aussie wanker. Still eating at Mozza "3 out of every 4 nights?" HA AH HA. jokes on you for paying for overpriced pasta and poor wine service. Can you please just admit that you really eat at Outback steakhouse everyday with Rosoff? Thanks.
