He's shipping out! US Magazine is reporting "Bachelor" Andy Baldwin is off to Iraq. Tie a yellow ribbon!
Baldwin's rep told the mag "He leaves in January." The 30-year-old good doc (and Navy Lieutenant) is currently stationed in Hawaii as "an undersea medical officer for a special operations dive unit," according to his website.
After his break-up with contestant Tessa Horst, something tells us he needs a pen pal.

My husband is a Navy guy who is heading to Iraq for the second time-- What does he do there, he is a Navy Corpsman with the Marines-- The Marines call him "Doc" My husband goes into the field with these Marines, and provides them with any medical care they need. He is side by side with his Marines and fights and cares for them- So thats what my Navy guy does.

19. Just4fun, the Navy provides a great deal of support. They also have pilots on ship and have a place for AF and Marines on board. But Andy is also a Doctor which means his services will be used a great deal for our service men/women and for injured and sick Iraqi's. So there is a great deal the Navy can do.
Andy, good luck on your tour of Iraq and I hope the people over there appreciate you as much as so many of us appreciate you here. I can see your charities will help a great deal in Iraq. I know you have a huge soft spot for children and they need you very much in Iraq. So stay safe and come back home having learned as much about the Iraqi's as you have so many others around the world.

20. I always thought this guy was sneaky. He also seems very pompous and arrogant. The girl he broke up with can be glad they never actually made it to the alter. I got one word to call this guy....... people always say it about me but now I know what they mean. The word to describe him is SMARMY.

21. I think he knew he was being shipped over there isn't that why Tessa left Hawaii and went home? I really think there "engagement" has been called off. They just don't want to dissapoint the people who so believed in them!! Well at least that other couple Trista and Ryann made it and have a child. I hope Andy is safe in Iraq. Of course he is needed there he is a Dr. What are you all thinking??

29. Noah, this has nothing to do with "stealing" their oil. It has to do with making sure there is an open tap and that oil will be available to us on a constant basis. An unstable middle east leads to unstable oil markets. Duh! Too bad this war was so poorly planned that it is more unstable than ever. What dopes we have running this country. Duh!
