198. Awwww Shana!! Thanks for sharing. I'm over myself now. My point was that somebody said that A&M was just "so upset" because of the rivalry with Tech not the real issue. Not true.....
We would have been bothered if it came from any team. Any Aggie would tell you that tu is our rival....and I'm sure tu fans will say their main rival is OU. That's how it is.

202. While I think the shirt is completely inappropriate, I wouldn't go so far to be hammering everyone from Tech. I have been to plenty of football games both inside and out of college station and seen drunken Aggies make complete a$$es of themselves spilling beer on themselves and everyone around them.

Should I say that all Aggies are complete drunks because I have seen a few make fools of themselves? I agree with you that someone who would make a shirt like this has no class and is an embarrassment to any school, but its pathetic that you use it to trash the entire school. You only hurt us all.

There is one University in Texas and it is not A&M.

204. Yes this shirt does offend people. Yes it was bad timing. The frat shouldnt be kicked off campus over a little shirt. The frat is a big deal to those kids and doing that to them over a t-shirt is tough. Put them on probation jerks!!! It was made as a joke to poke fun at A&M who i believe needs to be made fun of. Then A&M fans sound off about how "Reveille is a symbol of the school spirit and the pride that we have in Texas A & M" as in post 12. Well you know the Longhorn is a symbol of school spirit and i do believe A&M branded 13-0 leading to the Name BEVO. Wow, what kind of class is that. How about them aggies going after the Seahawks because there fans went by the 12th man during the super bowl run. NICE!!! Like A&M has any right to tell a team that there fans are the only "12th man"! What a joke!!! Oh yeah, i believe the Aggies also walk around College Station every day wearing "Saw em off" shirt depicting bevo with his horns cut off. All Aggies do is talk trash about UT everyday, base there school song on beating UT. UT isnt even a rival, i think its 80+-20+ in UT's favor all time in football. I think A&M needs to worry about there own problems. For one, you coach. Another, you havent done anything in football since 1998. Get over yourself. Win a bowl game against someone beside TCU. PEOPLE GET TO WORKED UP ABOUT THINGS NOW DAYS.!!!!!

i love your last sentence in your post. it looks like you were more worked up out of anyone on the whole forum. all your post did was trash A&M - you obviously have never even stepped foot on A&M's campus. if you had, you wouldn't have said the things you did. what tech did was pretty distasteful and quite honestly just stupid, but it's not surprising. hopefully our team will show up this week and beat the hell outta tech!!

I have to say, one of the funniest shirts I ever saw was between the Texas Aggies and the Longhorns last year. It was a picture of Reveille with his legs cut off and it said "Saw Reveille's legs off!" Pretty damn funny if I do say so myself. This on the other hand, was just down right distasteful.

By the way Bill.....who won last year's game between A&M and UT???? That's what I thought......

209. Katharine.......an Aggie with humor!!!! I love it! You're exactly right! I wasn't impressed with the t-shirt therefore I chose not to wear it or buy it! But serious Aggies......how is this any different than the thousand and one signs/t-shirts/ run-through signs I've seen over the years from Pee-Wee football to Pro football......everything from "Slaughter the Bulls" or Burn the Pirates at the stake!.....check out any spirit catalog out there! It's been going on for years!
