Vick 'Em Shirts: Too Soon?

211. Are you people serious? Why is everyone so up in arms over a T-Shirt... Just go check out the shirts at the www.tshirthell.com. Now that is tasteless humor. I myself enjoy it. That is the beauty of this country, we have the right to pick and choose things like this. Everyone needs to unbunch their panties! Besides, this shirt was designed for a rivalry college football game. I've seen shirts that way more offensive than this at other rivalry games. Grow up people, just a shirt.

212. As a Tech student, wow I cant beleive that Aggies have nothing better to do than complain about a shirt that was made as a joke. Do any of you watch SNL lol or did you watch it last week? I bet all of you laugh when you watch it so its a little hypocritical for you to be complaining just because it was made about your ugly precious dog. Didnt UT make a shirt a few years ago that saws saw em off with Reveille with his legs cut off? and havent Aggies made shirts about cooking Bevo? If we really want to get into animal cruelty I think all of these shirts would fall under the category. I think every school in the Big XII has a shirt making fun of a&m for raping sheep, but you dont complain about that and there is def not this much national attention about it. IF YOU CANT SEE THAT THIS SHIRT IS A JOKE AND PICKING FUN AT A CURRENT EVENT WHICH HAPPENS ALL ACROSS THE COUNTRY EVERY SINGLE DAY THEN GET A SENSE OF HUMOR. "ITS JUST A SHIRT" it doesnt mean were gonna go out and start hanging dogs seriously its pathetic. THESE SHIRTS ARE HILARIOUS GET OVER IT AND FIND SOMETHING BETTER TO DO WITH YOUR TIME AGGIES, im pretty sure there are plenty of sheeps out there that have missed you over the last couple of days!

213. I think the shirt is in terrible taste. I'm a Tech alum. I took a grad class at TAMUG for work and qualified to buy football tickets. 50 yard line or so, second deck for most games (the mouth of the beast). Didn't know all the hand signs and such. Not required for people taking a grad class. Was forced to become a poseur. An Aggie behind me swatted my A&M hat off my head really hard. I'd never been taught "uncover". Was that my fault...no. I responded to the guy that it was a very unAggie-like way of handling things. I did not appreciate the incident. I had not met an uncool Aggie until that moment. My point is that your gonna find jerks AND nice people EVERYWHERE. I DO appreciate the incredible CHURCH that is Kyle Field and LOVE going to games there. It is hands down the best college atmosphere, bar none. That said...WRECK 'EM!

216. Making a joke at a current situation is an everyday thing, it happens all the time on shows like jay leno, the daily show, snl, dave letterman, everywhere. How come when they say things like that its not classless but the moment its printed by a student everyone goes crazy. It happens everyday, its part of life, get over it its a joke, shut up aggies

217. An Aggie had just completed his studies and was awarded a BS Degree in mechanical engineering. He was immediately hired by the Texas highway department.
His job was to paint the yellow stripe down the middle of the highway. After three days, his boss called him in and advised him that he was no longer needed.
When the Aggie inquired as to the reason for his dismissal, the boss replied, "On your first day here, you painted three miles of stripe, which is good. On your second day, you painted two miles; not as good, but still acceptable. Today, you only painted one mile. This is too far below our standards."
The Aggie accepted the explanation, saying on his way out the door, "Well, alright, but I want you to know, it wasn't my fault. The paint can kept getting farther away."

219. I don't understand why Tech students can't learn that everyone should be the same. They should all wear the same thing and yell the same thing. They need to learn to follow the leader because if people don't act the same as everyone else then they are evil and classless. No one at A&M would ever do this. They are all told what to think and do. Nothing new or different should ever happen. Did you know that at Tech they don't even all wear the same costume to the game? Unthinkable. And also I don't understand why Tech would think this is a rivalry. They beat A&M almost every year. How could that be a rivalry? That would be like calling UT-Baylor a rivalry.
P.S. The shirts are stupid and not funny, that's the problem. They shouldn't be banned, they should be ignored. The real difference between an A&M student and a Tech student is the ability to think for themselves. Oh and for all you Aggies out there this was a joke, so don't go out there and try and hunt down the student that betrayed your school.

Ashley, sorry but sometimes people have to get worked up after idiots fill up these message boards. Oh yeah, i have been at A&M before. I have a ton of friends at A&M and most of them think HARD CORE AGGIES are a joke. I have nothing against A&M, the reason i was trashing A&M was just showing some of the stupid things yall do too. I did say this shirt was stupid. But seeing 100+ posts saying these tech fans had no class and such, i thought i would show some classless things A&M has done over the years. I truly like A&M. Second favorite school in Texas. But the reason i didnt go there is because the way a lot of aggies act. It turned me away from the school. Good luck this week, let the best team win!!!!!

-Tech could not be A&M's rival: yes, a rivalry exists when you actually win (did you happen to catch the score TEXAS TECH 35 Texas AM 7!!!)

-Tech fans are classless. I really enjoyed watching the Aggies in front of me today spill their drinks all over my girlfriend (and themselves). Real class there.

-Aggies have more school spirit that Red Raiders. I enjoyed watching you head for exits during the 3rd quarter....Then again, you knew the game was already over!!!
