106. Britney's mother is going to realize that all along K-fed's was just being nice to her to get her on his side. He is opposing to the Kids staying the Night even though Lynn (grandmother) will be there.shows that his only goal is to keep the kids so that he can get MORE money. Even though all we have seen is caregivers or Bodyguard with those KIDS, where is K-leech at.

Hello people,don't you think her mother has used her for all these years by being her manager, putting her daughter in show business by age 10 as a mousketeer etc. and she has that big mansion in Kentucky paid for by Britney. Let er use her mom, paybacks a bitch, isn't it? I don't think her mom will do any harm to the kids, so why not use her mother as a court moniter. Oh, and it was OK for her mom to go take the kids out on walks at Kevins house but now he's objecting to her mom? Why so he can get more money.

Britney Spears insists on remaining in the public eye. If you're allowing yourself to be watch nearly 24/7 and you act like a drugged up skank, you shouldn't be surprised when you're called a drugged up skank.

112. I am not here to judge Britney or Kevin, after all I am a mother of two kids an know how hard it is to be the best mom that I can be at all times. I can only imagine what it would be like if everyone was judging me by only what the read/see since they are not in my shoes. I find it quite sad how everyone is so easy to jump to one side when nobody knows exactly what is going on. However I will admit I am as sucked into this story as the next person, I guess I am just not so quick to judge based on gossip and he/she said.

I do find it quite interesting that Kevin is against letting her mom be the monitor. After all I recall him letting his kids be alone with her many times. One would think if he doesn’t trust her mom, then why would he have her watch the kids on more than one occasion?

Others defending Britney, using the excuse, “she was married to a jerk!”---AND?!?! That is not an excuse to go out and act like a complete fool!! My ex is probably worse than K-Fed, but I am not going to be wasted every night and use him as an excuse for my atrocious behavior! I don't understand why Brit would want her mother involved at all. Didn't she give her mom papers demanding she stay away from the kids just a few months ago?

If they patched it all up, why in the world is her mom at a hotel? She has two houses. Either mom doesn't want to be around her, or the other way around.

Just those two things alone spells dysfunction between the two of them. I don't think they stand a snowball's chance in hell getting the judge to agree to this. The least they should have done is SHOW UP TOGETHER in front of the judge. Even if they didn't speak, it would show some concern for the boys and unity of mother and daughter.

Britney knows best though. All of this is everyone else's fault. Not.

116. It might be counterproductive for Grandma Spears to allow herself to
be used as a babysitter at this point. She should relax and enjoy the
grandkids while being able to come and go as she needs, while still
having to be a mother herself to her other minor daughter, Jamie Lyn.
To give Britney the gift of accountability, but to be there for her
while she grows would be the long term and loving thing to do that
might help her the most. Court appointed monitors can offer sound,
objective and valuable new tools to help Britney become a more
competent mother, and will more objectively satisfy the court.
Basically, if her Mom rushes in, how will Britney learn to stand on
her own two feet with her kids to the court's satisfaction? This approach
also saves Grandma from being blamed if things continue to go south anyway...

In Brit's process of spiraling down as far as she has gone 1 of the things on her way down she eliminated was her mother.A mother and daughter's reconciliation can never be a bad thing and it is on the path to recovery. loosing her kids just might of scared the hell out of her and all she could do was cry for Mom and my hat is off to her.... 118. I think that having Britney's mom as a "monitor" is a bad idea. I think Britney is using her mom to get the kids back. The court appointed monitor needs to be a "disinterested" third party, one not emotionally involved to see things clearly. Lynn loves Britney and her grandbabies, she wants to be in their lives...and so she certainly should be, but as their mother and grandmother, not a "monitor". If Britney doesn't get her way, she'll throw a hissy fit and threaten to oust Lynn out of her life again. Lynn would be put in a very awkward position. Britney knows this, I don't think she is as stupid as everyone seems to think she is.It's all a game to Britney, it's all about control.Ironically, she isn't even control of her own sanity at this point.

119. That is pure B.S. She is doing this so she can get by with her drinking habits, walking around in the nude and who knows what else she does around those kids. Her mother would probably make up false reports just so Britney can get her kids back. It should stay as the Court has ordered and not be changed. If the judge gives into her demands that tells me that the judical system in California is set up to favor the rich and famous and to screw over the rest of us normal citizens. If he does then he is a failure to the system as well and should be removed from the bench. Showing favortism is not being partial to the kids. It would be a REALLY BAD DECISION on the judges' part to give the HALF-ASS MOTHER BRITNEY WHAT SHE WANTS.
