Sure, they're vividly remembered for their live spit swap, but how is it possible to confuse music icon Madonna with popwreck Britney Spears?
TMZ spotted Madge as she walked out of a workout yesterday in New York, with a few spectators heard shouting "Britney! Britney!" toward the Material Mom. If Madonna were leaving a Taco Bell, perhaps it'd but understandable, but when was the last time you saw Britney at a gym in Manhattan?
Madge also joked that it must be a slow news day to be covering her, clearly oblivious to the $120 million contract she's about to ink with Live Nation.
