No Overnights for Brit Just Yet

Britney Spears will not get sleepovers with her kids, at least for now.

L.A. County Court Commissioner Scott Gordon did not rule on Spears' request to give her overnight visitation with her boys. Currently, she has monitored daytime visitation. She'd like the monitor to be her mom, Lynne, but the Commish made no ruling on that either. We're told, however, that the commissioner is inclined not to grant Brit's request.

As to why Brit was a no-show in court today -- her lawyer said it's because TMZ broke the story last night. She was planning to attend the hearing, and she didn't want the hassle of wading through media at the courthouse.

31. Yet she could care a less about "Wading through the media" at gas stations, fast food restaurants, stores clubs etc... Her lawyer really should be able to come up with a better excuse.

37. Like they wouldn't have been waiting for her anyway? and she doesn't wander through them after she has done whatever it is she does in gas station bathrooms? on regular trips to Starbucks? the drugstore? Whatever!

39. This is a joke, she is afraid of the paps in front of the court house, but she thinks its ok for her to go to Target? She is followed by the paps every second of the day. Does she think she is someone so special? Why would a person like her go to Target??? She wants the attention! Plus she isn't wearing panties, and again showing her pus to the camers. NO SHAME! What a shame, she is going to end up like Jacko- just all the fame and sensation went to her head and there is no logic, its all drama, all the time. I agree with the craptastic gossip sites and mags, that she cares more about herself and the dog than her kids, because she should be there to meet eyes with the judge, the man who has control of her fate with the kids. She is not all knowing, all powerful...

40. okay at first yes i liked watching all the video about brittany...now i mean really she can't even go get a pack of cigarettes anymore. I understand that she has made some bad choices and yes if she was a normal small town girl she would not have gotten in any trouble probably at all. but enough is enough. i mean she has to do normal things. i mean i could see where she is scared now. i mean the reason no one knows what is happening with kevin is because every photographer in the 20 mile radius is watching brittany. i mean yes follow her if you must but limit it to like five . there can not be that many mags wanting the same pic. i guess i am just saying back off a little.

PINK EYE IS NOT AN EXCUSE. Kevin showed up to court despite his Pink Eye. Oh that's right, because he actually GIVES A SHTT about the kids.
