No Overnights for Brit Just Yet

Britney Spears will not get sleepovers with her kids, at least for now.

L.A. County Court Commissioner Scott Gordon did not rule on Spears' request to give her overnight visitation with her boys. Currently, she has monitored daytime visitation. She'd like the monitor to be her mom, Lynne, but the Commish made no ruling on that either. We're told, however, that the commissioner is inclined not to grant Brit's request.

As to why Brit was a no-show in court today -- her lawyer said it's because TMZ broke the story last night. She was planning to attend the hearing, and she didn't want the hassle of wading through media at the courthouse.

49. TMZ isn't the reason she isn't there, she isn't there because she was aimlessly pursing the paprazzi at 2am in marina del ray. She also took sleeping pills (frequent and habitual user of drugs) and couldn't get up. The writing is on the wall, its so disturbing to me that they are so many people out there that enable her and make excuses for her. Notice you have not seen the kids since they have been with Kevin. He takes care of them and protects them, he doesn't throw them in the middle of paparazzi wars.

And now she wants her mom involved???? Didn't she only a couple of month ago have a restraining order against her mom? Or was totally dissin' her mom to everyone??? Now her mother is her "savior"?

53. So, this the reason why she all of a sudden reconciled with her mother! Wow, what a user Britney Spears is. And, I can't believe she doesn't show up in court and the reason is the media? Yet, she has no problem dragging her kids through the media, and then going through all that press just to get a cup of coffee. It's worth it for a cup of coffee, but not to get your children back? One has to wonder, though, what she's afraid of. Is she afraid the judge, for some reason?

56. Britney should continue her efforts to straighten up and let Kevin raise the kids for now since he apparently has no other talent or ability to earn a legitimate income. She should take this time as an opportunity to get herself together. She will see her children and no matter what any judge says or does those kids will ALWAYS LOVE AND WANT THEIR MOM. I've seen a lot worse. Atleast she financially supports the entire brood. She will recover from what appears to me to be a broken heart over a broken marriage. I think she will grow stronger with the support of her mother. She will win her kids back.

57. how pathetic is it that she used that as an excuse.. U know what get TRAMPLED by elephants if you have to.. if that means you are one step closer to being with YOUR CHILDREN. Give me a break ya'll.
Oh and this BS about her mom.. they've spoken for 2 days now.. now she's the mediator. Im over feeling sorry for Brit.. she needs to get on her hands and knees in front of that judge. GROW UP BRIT!!!!!!!!!!

58. ohh come on there are 1000s of mothers doing the same thing she does and just because the nation can read about her mistakes on tmz she loses custody of her children. i certainly dont agree with all of her choices but she isnt a horrible mother like kfed is making her to be!!!!!!!! i think she is just trying to control her children because she feels like she didnt have control over her life and she rightfully should be able to control her babies!

59. This woman is a weasel. She has no problem wading through medis to get custody of fraps and tacos, but her children? That's asking too much. I really hope she does read these sites like she's rumored. My chihuahua can poop piles that contribute more to society than this pig.
