No Overnights for Brit Just Yet

Britney Spears will not get sleepovers with her kids, at least for now.

L.A. County Court Commissioner Scott Gordon did not rule on Spears' request to give her overnight visitation with her boys. Currently, she has monitored daytime visitation. She'd like the monitor to be her mom, Lynne, but the Commish made no ruling on that either. We're told, however, that the commissioner is inclined not to grant Brit's request.

As to why Brit was a no-show in court today -- her lawyer said it's because TMZ broke the story last night. She was planning to attend the hearing, and she didn't want the hassle of wading through media at the courthouse.

91. I know that if you go into the entertainment buisness people will want to photograph you. but I really believe, and not just in this case, that the Paparazzi have been going WAY to far in invading people's lives.

I do not think TMZ should be reporting on a court case involving minors. Report that she lost custody and leave it at that, if that.

We all know that TMZ hangs out at the court house every day and not just for Brit Brit. For any Hollyweird story, divorce filings, lawsuits, etc...

So don't act surprized that TMZ would be there!

I would go through a battle field to get to a custody hearing! She does not deserve custody of her children, because she puts herself FIRST!

This has nothing to do with TMZ breaking the story.

She thinks nothing of "wading through the media" when she's going to Taco Bell, or swimming in the ocean with bra and panties, or getting out of a car wthout underwear and having her legs spread open so the media can get a good shot, or going to a salon, shaving her head, KNOWING the media is right outside waiting for her. Yet, she can't deal with the media when it comes to her kids. If she really wanted her kids back she could have arranged to come to court and leave by a back door or something.

She should stop blaming other people and be for real with herself. She is not in any condition to care for her kids. She DOES NOT want to be with her kids at this time. She should just admit it and do whatever it takes to get herself together SO SHE CAN take care of the kids and continue her career. To blame TMZ for not coming to court is ludicrous.
