A random woman went off on TMZ to Seth Green last night -- luckily, the "Austin Powers" alum had our back!

Our photogs caught Green outside of Koi trying to deflect attention from himself in any way possible. A blonde woman, drunk on Hater-ade, then walked up to him out of nowhere and started trash-talkin' our show, saying, "It's horrible ... they follow celebrities around all the time."

Green brushed off the awkward confrontation by saying, "That sounds like a great concept." We agree!

8. Hey guys, that IS Heidi. She's just hating because nobody will follow her around. TMZ probably didn't call her out because even Seth Green is more significant than she is. I bet she was mega-pissed when nobody said, "Hey, that's Heidi!" even Seth didn't know who she was. Don't worry Heidi, I'm a Hills fan and I recognized you. Shouldn't that count for something? LOL
