AG on Anna Nicole -- "Serious Crime Has Been Committed"

California Attorney General Jerry Brown says that he requested the search warrants executed earlier today in connection with the death of Anna Nicole Smith because, he believes, "a serious crime has been committed."

In a press conference just concluded, Brown didn't divulge specific details of what he was looking for, and what crimes might have been committed, but told reporters that "playing with dangerous drugs" can result in death and "prescribing drugs illegally is a crime," and he suggested people should "put it together."

As TMZ first reported earlier Friday, eight warrants were served today, including one at the home of Smith's former psychiatrist, Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, where Howard K. Stern happened to be time at the search. The Medical Board of California is investigating Eroshevich, who ordered a virtual pharmacy of drugs for Anna, five days after her son Daniel died.

17. I agree. Howard Ster is so guilty. He didn nothing to stop this doctor giving her drugs. How interesting that he was there when they served her. I'll tell you why, they were in on it together. They deliberetly murdered her so Howard who managed and stole her money and is now sitting in some off shore accounts can some how inherit 6% of that money. Figure that out people. He steals money from her, because she is so out of it, how would she know....and gets 6% of her millions if she wins in court. What a shady ba*stard.

23. I believe that the AG was smart in taking his time to issue these warrants. I'm sure the State of California wanted to be fairly sure of their position before it made the move official. I remember a video clip of Perper saying that HIS end of the investigation was over but there were other agencies that might be involved with other findings (alluding to the prescription angle). I couldn't remember the website I saw the clip on. Anyone else hear this clip a few months back?

26. you know the only thing screwed up about Rita's book is this SEX stuff had she left that out we wouldnt be having this conversation and I also believe that Linn Wood has been in contact with many of these people that is why they are not talking.. 28. Rita Crosby has an FBI agent that heard the nannies say there was a video
These nannies are not wealthy people, they would say anything for money.
I don't think this FBI agent has any reason to lie about what he heard.
Back to Anna, I hope they are going to investigate Daniel's death, that poor kid

30. Are you kidding?? HS got the drug's (BUT, you don't buy drug's for a Junkie!) It doesn't matter if Anna took them herself, and I find that hard to believe..she took them all by herself. It's like an alcholic, he doesn't tend bar after he's sobber...huh? They should have been getting Anna into treatment!!

Oh and I agree...TMZ ENOUGH OF THAT SPOILED BRAT BRITTNEY....
