Orlando Bloom Issues a Statement

Orlando Bloom's rep issued the following statement to TMZ:

"Orlando Bloom, who was in a minor car collision late last night, is grateful that no one was seriously injured. Bloom called for help immediately following the incident. He spent last night at the hospital to be with his childhood friend who sustained a minor neck injury. He is thankful that emergency services arrived so quickly and that the ER staff at Cedars Sinai took such good care of his friend."

The rep did not say why Bloom tried to flee the scene.

7. It doesn't look like he'll serve any time in jail. It seems that the police have given up, and just say that he wasn't drunk. He's jucky he's not Keifer Sutherland. He'll probably check in to jail, and walk right out though.

11. A fractured neck not serious? No alcohol test? No drug test? Trying to walk away from an accident? Maybe there are two different justice systems in Los Angeles?

14. "Orlando Bloom, who was in a minor car collision late last night, is grateful that no one was seriously injured." (Orlando Bloom, who was acting like a crackhead last night, is grateful that no charges have been filed...yet.)

"Bloom called for help immediately following the incident." (On the wise advice of the paps told him that fleeing down the street leaving his "dear friend" bleeding at the scene was not the best move.)

"He spent last night at the hospital to be with his childhood friend who sustained a minor neck injury." (The hospital had lots of coffee on hand to hasten Orlando's major "drunk injury.")

"He is thankful that emergency services arrived so quickly and that the ER staff at Cedars Sinai took such good care of his friend." (And he pays us well to write this drivel. Ka-ching!)
