Kanye: No YOU Take the Award!

At BET's Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta last night, Kanye West won "Best Hip-Hop Video" -- and then tried to give it away! Complaining Kanye, who was a major whiner after not winning at this year's MTV Music Video Awards, was suddenly eating humble pie; after accepting the award for his song "Stronger," he tried to give the award to competitors UGK! Ugh!

Kanye accepted the award and then said that UGK's song "International Players," featuring OutKast, was more deserving, and handed the award to OutKast's Big Boi. Is he "stronger," or just "crazier?"

Big Boi handed back the award and told wacky West that he had no reason to be humble. Besides, Big Boi's got plenty awards of his own.

16. Kanye knows what every other serious Hip Hop head knows. UGK deserved an award. Maybe not for best video though. But maybe something else LOL. This would be something I'd expect Kanye to do because of his respect for OUR music. You deserved that award cause GRADUATION is your best album to date. I hate that his music sometimes gets overshadowed by his persona, but thats what it is...

You're irrelevant to anyone but the few million 14 year old idiots that buy your music. All we hear about is your whining and bragging and being a petty little bitch. When 50 cent or whoever else is your rival caps your ass (soon?), this world will be a better place.

23. I have a friend who works @ the Pink Elephant in NYC and was able to sneak into the Ariva Party the other night. Kanye was there. There was also a mention in the New York Daily News:
