Imus Plotting Radio Return -- "Ready for War!"

Disgraced radio talker Don Imus has re-emerged after Nappygate, and not in a small way -- he'll be coming to the country's biggest talk radio station on December 3, says the Drudge Report.

The I-Man has made a deal with WABC in New York to bring his "Imus in the Morning" show back to the airwaves in what Drudge is calling an "eight-figure, multi-year contract." That's eight figures, as in, north of $10 million a year. "Don is rested, humbled, and ready for war!" says a studio source.

Still, WABC isn't taking any chances that Imus' often loud mouth won't cause any crazy ripples. "We'll have him on a standard 40-second delay," says the source. Imus settled with former employer CBS over his breach-of-contract lawsuit, reportedly for a cool $20 million.

17. He wasn't disgraced.

I didn't even know who this guy was before that remark.

Good marketing if you ask me.

18. Eh. Don't even get me started on Al Sharpton and the Reverend Jessee.

They are all about $$$$ and publicity.

They have sold out. It's not about racial equality....it's all about THEM.

Jerks.

20. ...if he's not disgraced, what was behind all the -- "i'm ashamed of myself" -- apologizing he did? just a liar, i guess. when i used to get up at 4:30 for work every morning, i'd watch imus and wonder who was getting off on this frat-boy hate-a-thon so early in the day. it was nutz. what was even more confusing was the really great guests he'd often have on; politicians, journalists, etc., often after some politically-eloquent guest, the show would cut to commercial, and he'd come back slamming some woman for the way she looked, or making the sort of racist remarks that should have had him booted years ago. when you top all that "good-ole entertainy" up with his constant shoeing of his wife's enviro-cleaners, well i'm not sure who was left watching him when nbc finally made the call ...

25. im GLAD. take that sharpton, you racist bigoted a**hole, i hope everything blows up in your face in the future like this did. i'm not promoting REAL racism, but this was pathetic and i'm a social so i've seen alot of things. i'm sick and tired of people cluthing the word 'racism' like a damn security blanket and using it for everything. everyone deserves to make a living and work and i'm glad imus is back. and if you want a real racist, go look at sharpton, all he does is spread hate and intolerance

26. Imus is too old and un-cool to know anything. Charles, his producer through the years, has saved his sorry, wrinkled old ass millions of times. I'm sure he'll bring Charles with where ever he lands. But Bernie McGuirk is another matter. McGuirk is the guy who made the nappy headed hos remark in the first place...he's a creepy, dateless wonder, angry at women always. Hey Imus, leave McGuirk in the dirt...he's most comfortable there anyway.

29. After 19 lunatics crashed four airplanes and killed 3,000 people on American soil, Bill Maher stated on his show that "it takes courage to fly an airplane into a building." His show was cancelled amid the outrage but he didn't disappear into oblivion did he? Nope, because someone will always hire stupid loudmouthed jackasses and they will always find an audience. Ironically this kind of controversy can actually end up being beneficial to someone's career, while people like us sit here and argue about freedom of speech vs common decency. That's just the kind of society in which we live but I suppose it's better than living in some communist or Taliban regime where wearing the wrong hair can get you put in jail or speaking out against the wrong person can get you executed. Imus' remarks were completely disgusting and uncalled for and so is half the stuff that comes out of Howard Stern's mouth. You know, just because you can doesn't mean you should.

30. He should have never left.....I thought this was America....Freedom of Speech.....something we are losing every day...........
