I love the show .....thank God, the obnoxious, self-centered, conceited idiot jacka$$ Slade ain't Smiling anymore...I couldn't stand when he was on the show.....he was like he wanted to be one of the girls.....if he was on, i changed the channel & went back.....thank you bravo, and how smart was his youngest son's mommy to take her son away from that joke and off the show, he didn't belong there.....all he talked about was the cost of everything, the budget he gave jo for the wedding, the cost of the house, etc....who cares.....oh, he did....now he can live on la skid row, if it is true his house & car are gone...oh well....the best tho to his oldest boy, go home to your mom..................see ya slade, won't miss you for a sec...........

39. i"m sorry, jo is a dime a dozen girl, nice looking but just no personality, she'll never be a hit singer, she sang on the show, Heidi's record would sell more, and thats not saying much! slade is a tool, he needs to grow a pair!! he's the softest man i've ever seen, he make's johnny fairplay look like cage fighter!and the other women are normal looking, but so shallow, moneys nice but it show not rule your life like there life looks like on t.v.!

I thought he was a arrogant abusive little big man, He mistreated his parents on the show, making fun of them for living simple lives, a life he seemed to be ashamed of but came from!.
I never watched it after that episode. Which was at the begining of the first season maybe? not sure.
