Dancer Auditions -- Brit a No-Show

Britney Spears didn't show up (again) for the dancer auditions for her upcoming music video, but other talent certainly did -- and lucky for you, TMZ was there to catch some of the greatest dancers since Ginger Rogers "did what Fred Astaire did -- only backwards."

TMZ was outside of Millennium Dance Complex in North Hollywood last night, where Spears was a no-show as she was too "busy" getting ready to get booked. The auditions were videotaped and will be sent to Britz herself -- no guarantee that she'll actually get around to watchin' 'em, y'all.

Here they are -- the good, the bad and the wannabes.

16. We don't care at this point-useless stories about this trainwreck loser

17. Who would want to dance with Britney or for someone who does not give them the time of day? She is rather rude, treating people like this. It's like when she wrecked into the car and only checked HER OWN. Treating people like this and not even showing up.....I would hope the talented dancers think too much of themselves and value themselves to tolerate this. Have some self-respect and as professionals, you deserve better!

18. Well, looks like Brit is really getting the talent out. She'll look great dancing next to these people.

You can say what you want. Just because it is common practice, does not mean it is right, or professional. It is also very disrespectful because all it is telling the people that are waiting for her is that she thinks she is better than them.

21. Spurs, I'm assuming you didn't understand my post. Most, almost all, people who ask for people to audition do not appear - so it IS right. I dont' see how if this is common practice in the dance world to audition and they not be there, it be disrespectful and rude - she shouldn't have to show up, that's the way it is with auditions, so i dont' see why it should be any different for her to HAVE to show up just because the media makes it out to be a circus. Just like actors do not audition for the director and write, they meet with casting personal, same concept.

I'm not picking your post apart, trust me, i just know b/c i'm a trained dancer, and saw that they were trying to make a story out of nothing here and just make her look bad. if she did show, that would be a really cool thing, since that would be uncommon...
