Drug Tests Pending in Nick Hogan Crash Case

10/16/2007 3:03 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

A report released today by the Clearwater, Fla. Police Department about the crash involving Nick Hogan doesn't say much, but it does indicate that authorities are waiting for the results of drug and alcohol tests.

The St. Petersburg Times reports the wreck totaled Hogan's Toyota Supra valued at $50,000. The crash also caused $500 in property damage to city shrubs.

According to the report, the roads were wet at the time of the accident and the driver "disregarded other traffic control." Police sources tell us that the investigation into this case will be wrapped up by the first week in November-- and they should have a decision on whether or not to press charges.

Cops say Hogan was driving his souped-up Supra at a high rate of speed when he lost control and hit a median. The car was demolished and Hogan's passenger, his good friend John Graziano, was critically injured.

Graziano is still in the hospital, having suffered permanent brain damage. Doctors say he will never recover.

This makes me so sick. He thinks as a wanna be celebrity he is above the law. He has disgregarded the rules of the road numerous times in the past and the police have let it slide by not ticketing him. Because of his carelessness his "friend' John is never going to recover from his injuries. And of course He walked away practially unscathed. Nick Hogan and the whole Hogan family make me sick with their handling of this situation. Didn't Linda Hogan come out and say that John was on the road to recovering. How is living the rest of your life in a nursing home recovering?????

I read that this kids mom encouraged him to drag race and flaunt the speed limit. I maybe can understand a teenage boy high on testosterone and God only knows what else doing something really stupid - but those parents, I think they ought to be held liable as well.

They are not his nails if you look you can see they are from a woman"s hands. And I'm sure that he is suffering about his friend I don't see why it's gotta be about his family's money or to start putting him down. Don't be jealous because they have money his father has worked hard for everything they have. And now his making his own money from the show his family is doing. So stop being haters.

caring mom

I am so sad about John but imagine if Nick were your son, it was not intentional and he will have to live with this the rest of his life. I realize it's not bad like John but he is a kid and we have all made stupid mistakes like speeding, it just wasn't this tragic.

To #56:

I think YOU may have brain damage. Read the article again.

And regarding Debbie Graziano: The Hogans are supporting her financially, what do you expect her to say about them? She is in an awkward spot.

" AND THE WALLS CAME TUMBLING DOWN.....'" WELL HOGANS, HOW DOES YOUR 'FAME AND FORTUNE' FEEL NOW? DOESN'T MEAN A HULLUVA LOT NOW
DOES IT? NO FUTURE FOR NICK OR BROOK OR LINDA (?!) AND THEIR LEADER ,DAD.
WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD. I REMEMBER ONCE HEARING A VETERAN NEWSCASTER SAY SOMEBODY ONCE TOLD HER, ''ONE DAY YOU COULD BE REPORTING FROM THE VINYARDS IN FRANCE ABOUT THE WINE, AND THE NEXT DAY YOU COULD BE POURING WINE IN A RESTAURANT TO THE CUSTOMERS." BETTER CHECK WITH OLIVE GARDEN AND SEE IF THERE ARE ANY OPENINGS.

BLINKING !!

CLEARWATER - Police released the report on the crash involving the son of wrestler Hulk Hogan Tuesday, but there was little in it that hasn't already been reported in the media.
The report basically describes the accident scene, and notes that speed contributed to what happened. But, police declined to say exactly how fast Hogan was going citing the ongoing investigation.
No charges were expected to be filed Tuesday.
Nick Hogan, 17, was at the wheel in August when his sports car spun out of control and slammed backwards into a palm tree.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------IN OTHER WORDS NICK HOGAN gets to RACE up and down our PUBLIC streets without a care in the WORLD.

Yeah. Nick suffered some rough justice from the cops, huh?

September 17, 2006 Nick was driving a black Mercedes when he was stopped along Alligator Alley for speeding. He claimed that he had a family emergency, and was let go with a warning. He was stopped 19 miles later going 115 mph in a 70 mph zone and issued a $305.50 citation. [39][40]

February 8, 2007 Nick was ticketed in Dade County, Florida for driving 57 mph in a 30 mph zone. [41][42]

April 25, 2007 Nick was ticketed for driving 106 mph in a 70 mph zone in Osceola County. [43] He was convicted and received four points on his license. [44]

August 10, 2007 Nick was ticketed in Pinellas Park after his 1998 Toyota was recorded going 82 mph in a 45 mph construction zone while workers were present.[45] He pleaded no contest, was fined $1,000, and received another four points on his license. [46]. He was also ordered to attend a 12 hour driver improvement school.

I will bet his parents are now re-thinking their decision to let their idiot child drive a souped up car! They should have stuck the moron in a mini van, maybe at the least his friend would still be walking and talking! Good thing Hulk Holgan had his little brain smashed in so much he makes excellent decisions regarding his kids! Almost as bad as letting their cow of a daughter walk around letting all the flab hang out!
