Ellen Breaks Down on Her Show

796. TO ALL ELLEN BASHERS!



This is to all those that resorted to 1st grade name (Lezbo- that wuz your best sho?t!)calling AND this is a reminder of those who in Ellen's name, without her consent, resorted to threats of violence.



I want you to think about this: When the woman from Moms & Mutts called Ellen to inquire about the dog, she was HONEST. The woman however, responded to Ellen's honesty with deceit. Period. The End Ellen's frankness about the dog should have been a HUGE red flag for the woman that Ellen was not aware of the infamous clause. Had she SIMPLY said- "Ellen, you know that violates the contract, right?" might have given Ellen a CHANCE to explain and work it out like adults. But, no, she chose to lie to Ellen, to the new owners and then so callously hold the dog away from the children in stead of waiting to go in with the police. I think that was pretty cold, but in NO WAY deserving of a death threat!



If ANY of you that chose to spew hate, if you had actually ever stopped to learn all that Ellen has done, for people like us, the non famous people. Case in point: Ellen saw a young man on you tube who could leap over a car and she love it. So, they tracked the young man down and invites him to be on her show. He was great- they brought a car onstage and he jumped over it, then later jumped over 5 or 6 cars all in a row! He later told Ellen that his dream was to be in a Nike commercial. SO, Ellen calls the CEO of Nike and she surprised him today with an appearance at the opening of a new NIke store, $5000 shopping spree at Nike and a spot in the new spot for NIke.com! She made a dream come true for regular guy like us. He's not her first either- not by a long shot.



So, yea, Ellen's a real bitch, hugh?

797. This same situation has happened to me. Once again, a do-gooder agency with the best of intentions has decided it knows better than anyone else how things should happen. They need to remember that their whole reason for existence is to ensure that animals are cared for. Nothing else. Are we supposed to accept that this dog is their property forever and ever no matter who is caring for it? What a load of crap. This is why people are reluctant to step up and take these dogs - because they don't want to deal with intrusive over the top agencies who think they're saving the world because no one else knows how. God, it's almost like adopting a kid or donating a kidney to take a dog from a shelter (and in make cases almost as expensive).

Lots of these comments are disgusting and are way off topic. While I will never agree and condone Ellen's sexual orientation, she is a human being and we shouldn't be attacking her for that.

To those who are attacking her FOR being gay, that's not even the issue here. As for TMZ.com, they claim they monitor this? Yeah, right! If they really did, many of these comments would be deleted. Someone really needs to keep an eye on this page and delete the anti-Ellen anti-gay comments.

The topic here is whether or not Ellen did the right thing by giving the dog to another family. Ann my opinion is she signed an agreement and didn't do the right thing.

Now when is TMZ going to delete the comments that don't belong here? Otherwise with comments that don't belong here TMZ is just going to look like a big joke. There are far too many inappropriate comments here.

I came out in your defense! Now I am emarrased! Shame on you for
putting these poor women through what you have!!!!! They have had
DEATH threats Ellen...these women have children and families! If you
knowingly villianized them (as it appears you have), and caused these
women's families this grief.... SHAME ON YOU!!! I have always loved
you, but I am ashamed of your actions! If you did what they dog
rescue agency's attorney said you did, you owe these families a
PUBLIC APOLOGY!!!!! *****For those of you whom have not seen it....

Whole different picture than the "heartless dog rescue" Ellen's
publicist should have harrasment charges filed against her!!!!!!!

803. Too funny! What a clash of gigantic egos! She has to be acting to be
that upset over a dog that she'd only been in contact with for a
short time. This is just too fakey, the crying act.
Work it out in private, Ellen and don't expect your stardom to get you extra sympathy.
This is not a public crisis that we all need to hear about on nationwide TV.

That silly Dog Rescue place needs a new manager. Thought the idea was to find homes for the dogs, not yank them out of a perfectly good home with kids that love him!

809. I believe Ellen has a heart of gold for all the time and effort she puts forth helping and, promoting pet adoptions. I'm sure it takes alot of what little time she has for her home life to even consider taking care of animals. But , She goes where her heart takes her. and, it's not like she threw the dog out along the road by a farm house. (which happens too often). She continued following her heart. and, did'nt put anything in harms way. the adoption agency just needed free publicty.
