The 51-year-old comedian/actress/motivational speaker turned up at the Media Access Awards in L.A. on Sunday, which recognizes those in the entertainment industry who hire and/or accurately portray people with disabilities.
Geri has cerebral palsy and recently starred on HBO's "Deadwood."

38. I used to watch that show religiously and thought that Geri was such an inspiration when disabilities were not talked about back then.
It's good to see her again. I hope someone gives her more work...she deserves it!

43. Good for her for coming this far in life and career. She is a wonderful role model to prove that no matter what the disablilty one can overcome it and be successful. She was awesome in Deadwood!
To all of you people dissing this woman, shame on you! She has extremely worked hard to get where she is only to have jerks like you to tear her down? Obviously, you are all insecure and jealous of the fact that there is a woman with a disability who is more successful than yourselves.
