182. I wonder how they reached her the other times when she passed her drug tests? This is a clear indication that she knew she wouldn't pass so she thought she could elude them by putting it off. The Commissioner's Order supposedly informed her that a "missed" drug test would result the same as a "positive" drug test.

184. I'm a hour earlier than the time posted on this site. I've had a life different then most of you. I worked 25 yrs in the entertainment industry. Been investigated by the secret service of the White House. Been mistaken for Crystal Gayle when I was younger. Had guns drawn on me in Portugal when they thought my hair dryer was a gun. Built a multi-million dollar business. Met many famous people. Got to the point where I never looked at what anything cost. Now, at 59, I live on a court ordered trust fund. Thanks, ex-husband, we were only married 34 years. Guess I should be grateful.

185. I think she was just so disappointed in losing the Nobel Peace Prize to Al Gore, that she just "spaced out" and gave the court the wrong number.
We should just hope that Brit's mom gets custody of the kids. She would do wonders for their upcoming careers in show biz.

Britney is not representative of Louisiana, nor of the South. Britney is, however, displaying traits normally associated with what we in the South call "trailer trash". Having worked with Child Protective Services for many years, I've seen this behavior over and over again. People with this mentality inevitably believe they do not answer to anyone, and no one can force them to do anything - including a judge. Consequently, I have participated in the termination of parental rights on many parents who acted in the same exact way she is acting now. All of them said the same thing - "take my children. I'll just have some more." It's coming with her. We're going to hear she's tired of it all, and try to give them up totally rather than change her lifestyle. It has nothing to do with money or fame (although that may have lead her to this point). It has to do with a mindset that is quite common across all social stratas, quite scary, and quite sickening.

I also state for the record, that many, many fine people reside in mobile homes. It is not my intent to disparage them in any way, shape or form. The term "trailer trash" is indicative of a mindset, not a residence or social strata.

187. Why is she taking ANY chances with her babies?! We've all said it before, but this just proves all the more that she has to be doing drugs or mentally ill, maybe both. I just can't see any sane or sober mother behaving this way. It is just so sad. She obviously can't help herself, but I pray there is someone who she will allow to help her. No matter what we think of her those babies need their Mother in their lives. I hope she hits her rock bottom and gets help soon so that she can be there before she misses too much of their lives.

188. Oh, it happens, Dottie. One mother I worked with had 8 children. Every time she had a baby we'd come get him/her. She abhored drugs, and to my knowledge never drank. She had that same "nobody's gonna tell me what to do" mentality, and she lost all of her children as a result. I see the same thing here. The children become possessions to be replaced if lost or stolen. It's that simple, and that sickening. The substance abuse may contribute to that mentality, but the mentality exists regardless.

pathetic leech. Britney missed her childhood due to working and I think she never really
had the opprotunity to be a kid, she has had people telling her what to do all of her life
and now that she doesn't have to listen, she is a mess! Her mother being out of the picture
for so long has caused her to have no ground and no one to yank her ass into shape. She
just seems really out of touch with reality and a bit immature, she has made a mess of her
life for certain...

I fear for these kids. One thing is that he has to have the kids, so she can pay to see them. He has to live of something being a person without talent, so they could serve as his income for the next years.

But they should be by some responsible parents or they will be shipped off to some lockdown boarding school in 10 years like a lot of rich-people kids in Hollywood (Paris Hilton went to one of my competitors in Provo - too bad.)

Could they not stay at her mom or at the lawyers?

I really hope you are not as ignorant as you sound. This is not just some minor little thing. She was given visitation with the children only on the condition that she be randomly drug tested twice a week. That means the drug testers determine when she gets tested, not her. It is her responsibility to be available for the tests at all times. The commissioner hasn't taken something away from her, he is just making her abide by her agreement. If she had refused the tests right from the start she would not have gotten visitation. She has already been warned that a missed test is a positive test. To the commissioner this just looks like one more way of avoiding the tests. I'm guessing she has been giving out Alli's phone number and Alli moved out last week and isn't tending to Brit's business any more. Doesn't matter, it is Brit's responsibility to act like an adult and make sure they can contact her. Have we ever seen her without her phone in her hand? She apparently just doesn't care enough to follow the orders.

My husband's French ex-wife is actually a terrible 'mother' - let's her children go around with lice in their hair, doesn't feed them properly, let's a 10 year old do her own laundry etc etc and we are absolutely powerless to do anything about it. I can't beleive how little it takes to lose your kids in America.
