TMZ was the only camera at the home where little Iggy was taken Sunday night, when Ellen and Portia frantically arrived, only to find the dog was already gone.

It's emotional, raw and heart-wrenching. Watch Ellen, Portia, Ruby (the little girl) and Cheryl (Ellen's hairstylist) describe the blow-by-blow of how Mutts and Moms steamrolled through the home and took the pup.
Take a look at the backyard confrontation where Marina Baktis of Mutts and Moms scooped up the pooch as cops decided who would walk away with Iggy.
91. Obviously this whole thing was a publicity stunt by Ellen. This "story" is the proof. Ellen, do the right thing and stop persecuting this rescue organization.
92. First of all, Iggy is safe. Whoever is spreading rumors that they dog was destroyed is an insidious coward. The dog is in a good home - it probably does not even remember Ellen's hairdressing or her snaggle-faced daughter - it is fine. This has now become about Ellen, her pride, and her need for pity and attention. She is a rich celebrity. Stop feeling bad for her. She bullies her staff and all around her - she is not a nice person. People who rescue dogs may be a bit nutty and fanatical, but most have the dogs interests at heart. To all those people who think a rescue's standards are too high, go to the pound and use some other option. If people spend the time and money saving a dog, they have a right to say where it goes. The rescue in question is not a "shelter," it is a rescue. The government does not run it. It is run by people who donate their time and money and, one hopes, ensure that the dog will not be killed, as they can be at the pound. There are certainly rescuers who are too extreme, and every now and then a "hoarder" will be raided by the authorities, but most of them are good-hearted people. Ellen keeps on talking about the issue, and obviously people listen since she is famous. And shame on TMZ for being so biased in her favor. Remember how she hated the press when she and Anne broke up? Had TMZ been around then, they wouldn't have such a happy relationship with her. I hope her cats crawl on her face in the middle of the night and suck out her soul. Oh wait, she doesn't have one!!!

93. The dog was ALREADY IN A GOOD HOME. I understand the "policy". Ellen understands the "policy". She apologized for screwing up. But when Ellen told her what she had done, according to the video, the woman IMMEDIATELY emailed her back DEMANDING the dog be returned. She didn't even WAIT to confirm that the dog was in a good home. Isn't that all that matters?! That the dog is in a good home?! Good grief.
95. So what if Ellen couldn't keep the dog. She gave it to a home where it is wanted, and not to a shelter. So what if the kids are only 11 and 12. They're old enough to not accidentally harm the dog, which is the real concern with young children.
I don't understand why there's a problem. I also don't understand why MuttsandMoms would defraud that family by pretending to come for a home visit, when they really were just coming there to steal the dog from them. Last but not least, I don't understand why the LAPD wouldn't just tell MuttsandMoms it's a civil matter and they'd have to sue to get the dog back, because that's exactly what it is.
96. GIVE THE DOG BACK AND THIS IS COMING FROM A PERSON WHO HAS BEEN IN ANIMAL RESCUE FOR A VERY LONG TIME. MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE FIVE RESCUE DOGS.......YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO USE COMMON SENSE AND OBJECTIVE JUDGEMENT. DO THE RIGHT THING, PUT YOUR BOGUST PRIDE ASIDE AND GIVE IGGY BACK. I WITH A LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE WILL BE GLAD TO MAKE A SUBSTANIAL DONATION SO YOU CAN TREAT YOUR RESCUES PROPERLY IF YOU DO THE RIGHT THING. THAT IS OF COURSE AFTER YOU HAVE A MENTAL EVALUATION TO SEE IF YOU ARE MENTALLY CAPABLE OF HAVING A RESCUE SHELTER. YOUR INTERVIEW AND YOUR ACTIONS DO NOT PRESENT THAT!!!!!!
97. Ellen wasn't incredibly irresponsible - she was incredibly STUPID. She didn't adopt a dog, she didn't buy a dog, she LEASED it. That's what dog adoption IS. The "rescue" organization retains ownership and charges some unsuspecting soul big bucks for the privilege of keeping the "rescue" organization's dog in their home, until the "rescue" organization decides they want it back for whatever reason. The term "adoption" only makes it SOUND final, when in fact, it is not. It's a scam. If you want your own dog, go buy one. Ellen was stupid, stupid, stupid to have bought into this. I can't believe so many people have, actually. Do you really want to take the chance of someone coming into your home and taking something that's yours? Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.
I sincerely hope the practises of these so-called "rescue" organizations are thoroughly checked into by law enforcement and people stop "adopting" dogs and start buying them. That's the only thing that's going to stop this kind of behavior. Ridiculous.

98. This is ridiculous. People commenting on contracts and so forth, we have no idea what was signed or said. Bottom line is rescue, and the dog was in a very good environment from the looks of the family and yard. I think Ellen should sue them. This is ridiculous to punish the dog, which is what is happening. So stressful for that dog......so wrong of the M&M's........

99. Sunshine, you twit. Did you read the articles? They did fill out an application and the NAZI already said (it's on video) there is no way that the family will get the dog.
100. A rescuer in Fla... about the chip. That is NOT true. I adopted my cat from a Humane Association and I filled out the paperwork for the chip there and they told me that they'd mail it. I got a yellow duplicate copy that I'm looking at right now.
101. Actually anyone in dog rescue, knows its a standard clause that the dog usually reverts back to the rescue agency in case the owner cannot care for the dog for whatever reasons. But it seems it could have been handled better on both sides.
103. ****Oprah wouldn't of heisitated , she'd done gone upside her head,,,

104. This has all got too much for me. Two wrongs never make a right. I only hope those kids get a new puppy soon.
I also wish child adoption agencies from overseas went to the same overboard procedures to ensure the children they place in celeb families have all their needs met. Seems a little overboard in this animal instance and too underboard for celeb child adoptions. Adopting babies has become such a trend that soon or latter the wrong celeb will do it for the wrong reasons. It won't be like Brit's custody case because legally who is to remove an adopted child that was adopted from a third world country? Is there any jurisdiction for child services to intervene in a baby or child adopted from overseas? My concern stems from Jessica Simpson's comment she wants to adopt. It just seems she could do that so much easier than Ellen give a puppy to a friend. That doesn't seem right to me.
Iggy is probably just going WTF? Scratch my belly and everything's cool. Dogs adapt so long as they are loved. It's Ruby and her sister that got the raw deal.
105. I've been in compassionate animal rescue for years and finally started working by myself to find suitable homes for strays. Most rescue organizations are infamous for discrimination. They often refuse to adopt pets to single women, single mothers or other "less than perfect" families. It's a shame this horrible organization is too snobby to let those innocent children have their beloved pet back! Adoptions should be based on whether or not the animal will be loved, not social status or wealth. Ms Baktis makes me sick. Millions of pets die in shelters every year, while elitist people such as herself refuse to let those animals have homes. What a nasty woman!
