New Video Shows Orlando Leaving Crash Scene

Orlando Bloom is being investigated for hit and run, and there is video clearly showing Bloom walking from the crash scene, leaving behind one of his passengers -- who suffered a fractured neck.

The video, shot by X17, shows paparazzi following Bloom, urging him to return, warning him that if he kept walking he could be prosecuted for hit and run. Bloom finally saw the light and returned to his car, the driver's door still wide open and steam coming out of the engine.

You see Bloom shaking an officer's hand -- btw, cops never gave him a blood-alcohol test.

The investigation into the crash -- where Bloom hit a parked Porsche and blamed the accident on an SUV he says cut him off -- is ongoing.

To watch the blow-by-blow of what went down at the crash scene, watch TMZ TV tonight.

16. Hmm... we don't see footage of him leaving the car. He's just walking down the street. He has a cell phone. I would guess that Brits would know about 911. Shock can make you do funny things. Would any person really just leave their friends in a smashed up car. The paps are there taking photographic evidence. How far would Orlando walking down the street get? The paps would follow if he got into a car. Did he speak to his passengers before he left the car? Was he asked what he was doing by walking down the street? How far was he from the club he left? Was he walking back to get help? Did he call 911 before he left or not until he picks up his phone? Could he have been heading off a friend on the way to the scene? The paps tell him that he cannot just leave the scene because it would be a hit and run... so Orlando goes back. Other people are assisting his friends when he returns. Who are they? Did he leave his friends in other friends' hands while he went to get help? He does not walk drunk when he stoops to pick up keys. Would cops really let him off if there are injured people and he smells like alcohol? That is probably the biggest question.

19. Trying to cover your ass much? I get a perverse joy of checking daily to see what new (meaning OLD) spin you're trying to put on this. The guy hit a parked car trying to avoid you and your kind who can't drive for crap. He was probably walking to draw you leeches away from the actual accident. When you did get there - you stood back and took pictures. Did you help anyone? Oh hell no. Oh, and it can't be a 'hit and run' if he stayed at the scene and filed the police report. You're leeches AND idiots.

You won't be happy until you kill someone (like the European paps killed Diana), will you? Even then, you'll still chase celebs. What the hell for? To get a photo of them walking a dog, eating lunch or scratching their ass? What sorry excuses for an existence you bottom-feeders are. Your mothers must be so proud.

20. Because Orlando was the one who called 9-1-1 - he can't be chaged with hit and run. Enough said.

22. Oh please, everyone with more than 2 braincells to rub together pretty much assumes it was a TMZ pap who caused the swerve that caused the accident. I know you folks like anything that sounds scandalous but even by TMZ standards, you've blown this one way out of proportion, possibly only because you're trying to save your own bums from being investigated for reckless driving? If that's all this is about, could you possibly just grow a set and fess up already?

23. FYI, in England it's 999 for an emergency not 911.
Also, given how many american shlubs, convicted of DUI and even vehicular homicide, continue to drive drunk on suspended licenses, why are you so down on one guy, who in a state of mild shock, took a short walk to clear his head. I've been in an accident or two and, even without serious injury, it really throws you for a loop.

24. GIVE HIM A REST PEOPLE.... did u ever think that maybe it wasn't his fault that maybe he was looking for help. It was not his fault think of so much Orlando Bloom has done for the environment. I agree with Orlando's cousen it was the stupid paporazzi's fault.

25. ok, so this a proof for the media's part...
i dnt really think this can push him further, i mean, walking away doesn't exactly mean running away right?
i know the case was over and he wasn't guilty-really, which i think is right...
but i hate the way people criticizes him for that innocent act, i mean, their putting too much malice in it, it's already annoying...

i think it's obviously normal that after an accident, people just lose his mind, or get panic or whatever, and does what they think is right or what their instinct is telling them. ..

what if his mind was already going crazy inside on what has happened and his instinct or his feet was telling him to go away, or what if his "walking away from the incident" was a mere way of calming his self down?

people are great criticizers and sometimes, they are too one-sided, why don't they give him (and other celebs) even a little justice?
