TMZ Gets It Right -- and Wong -- This Time

Yes, TMZ really blew it when we mistook this guy for Lance Ito.

TMZ was at the Asian American Arts Alliance's 25th Anniversary Gala at the Tribeca Rooftop, and we managed to scope a slew of luminaries, including "Heroes" star James Kyson Lee, comedian Margaret Cho, Tony winner B.D. Wong, and even R&B beauty Cassie.

Judge Ito was not in attendance.

31. This is horrible. I'm African-American and I find this offensive. I watched the clip with my mouth open. As a media outlet with millions of readers, there is a level of responsibility. You are doing a diservice to your readers letting them know it is ok to perpetuate stereotypes.

The person who wrote this and the person who OK'ed this for the site should be ashamed of themselves. Take a good hard look at yourselves and then take a one of those sensitivity classes because you definently need them.

33. Hey I have an idea, maybe the Asian America Arts Alliance should just change their name to the Judge Ito Alliance, maybe they can give a "ching chong award" to TMZ for doing a geat job in promoting hate by stereotyping and namecalling. I hope the members of the Asian American Arts Alliance watch this video and boycott/ban TMZ from their next gala.
