Gummi Thunders onto the Runway!
There have been pivotal moments in the history of modern fashion; the introduction of the mini skirt, the Chanel suit -- and now, Ed Hardy has introduced -- Gummi! *smattering of applause*
Last night's Ed Hardy show at The Grove was an ursine spectacle, with a sparklingly clad Gummi Bear lumbering down the runway (with an unlit cigarette) in a walk that can be best described as "buffoon chic."
Following genuine models strutting their stuff on the catwalk, a hulking Gummi galumphed down the runway with all the grace of a gazelle with a bullet wound. Move over, Tyra. In fact, move over everyone, here comes Gum!
Gummi's modeling debut was followed by the requisite posing with show attendees, who lovingly referred to the bear with, "What up, fat man?!" Work!
