Do you know who may things animals are killed for?? Foods, Entertainment (ie Hunting).. Do you know who many Turkeys will be killed this Thanksgiving just for tradition?? When its you all killing animals for your "needs" then its cool but this black man needs to go to jail and lose his career?? You come down with cancer are you going to deny the treatment beacsue its tested on animals who are killed in the process??

48. I am absolutely opposed to Vick ever being allowed to be around dogs for any reason whatsover and certainly not for punishment purposes.
Same as I wouldn't want a paedophile or child abuser allowed contact with children---ever---.
You cannot force a creature of this type into reforming by any methods. His love and addiction to cruelty is a permanent condition.
Hoping any method of 'rehabilitating' Vick's sick mind is a fantasy.

Some people want to believe Vick can be rehabilitated. Scary.
Once an abuser, always an abuser. Sometimes abusers are successful in convincing people they've 'recovered'. That's exactly why those caught and convicted are returned to prison. Why would Vick be any different? Because he is a football star? What do any of his fans really know about his off-field persona? zilch.
The best thing for society is Vick be put away for life.
Maybe his prison job could be scooping up pidgeon poop in yard.

50. We can talk about forgiveness once he’s done with
his time in prison. He came, he had, he lost. Apparently some
people need their freedom and the finer things in life
taken away in order to appreciate the luxuries and freedom that
we do have here. I also hope that he gets 5 years supervised probation
volunteering at an animal shelter, once his time in prison in through.

What he did is SICK! He needs a babysitter in prison, he can't be trusted!!!

Vick is a monster. Period.

He *will* suffer for his deeds for the rest of his life.Thus, his
sentence is already marked in stone and it cannot be reversed.Why I
know this? I'm not even a dog lover and if I feel this way, what
must those who do own and love dogs feel?
