The 21-year-old singer was shopping with her son, who turns three this month, when he made a run for it. Once she retrieved him from the street, Miss Knowles quickly put the lil' roadrunner in his car seat.

Was Child Welfare Services called on Miss Knowles? If this would have been Brittney Spears TMZ would have handed over the tape to Child Welfare or to the Los Angeles DA or better yet to K-Feds Lawyers. Solange is not a crackhead like Britney, so you can give her and other first time mothers the benefit of the doubt. Solange is not nearly as big as Britney, but if she let her kid ride in her lap while driving that would be a story.

I agree, there should not be a double standard- Solange is a mom that made a simple mistake, Britney is a mom that made simple mistakes. Solange is a beautiful mom, Beyonce is ugly.
