31. People seem to think that because there is a "contract" that's the end of it. Not so. The terms of the contract have to be within the law. Either the dog was Ellen's property or it wasn't.

32. Muts and Moms had their business license suspended before Elen came along. Before they do anything else explain why you are doing busines without a license. They think their contract is valid but in my take on all this they should be charged for doing business without a license.

Of course the real solution, at least in California, is to put Paris back in jail because she has a dog that looks like the one in dispute.

Do a bit of research on how many homeless animals are euthanised EVERY DAY, to make room for other animals then come up with another wise one. 37. Stop trying to link "Mutts and Moms" (Paw Boutique) to legitimate
animal rescue groups. These grifters aren't a non-profit, they don't
deal with their patrons in good faith, and they abuse the system
either for their own gratification or more likely, their own profit.
How much was the "donation" for "Ellen's dog"?Legitimate rescue
groups: Get some sense and minimize the damage to yourselves by
separating yourselves from these con-artists. Stop trying to defend
them. Defend yourselves and the animals you are actually helping by
letting the world know that this is not how you behave and that you
do not condone or support entering someone's house under false
pretense and ripping a pet from their children's arms. I am sure "the
rules" are in place for the animal's protection, but any rule can be
abused or twisted by unethical people. By aligning yourself with
crackpots like this you will only allow animal rescue in general to
be hurt. If people think that animal rescues actually support what
"Mutts and Moms" did, then people will not adopt from you. If people
do not adopt from you, ANIMALS DIE. If you care for the animals you
will stop protecting predatory "rescue agencies" like this one.
Separate the issue of wether or not a pet should be rehoused after
adoption from the abuse of the system that happened here. If Mutts
and Moms (Paw Boutique) is allowed to succeed in what they did, the
damage to the reputations of all animal rescues nationwide will be
damaged forever. Whenever the "no rehousing" clause shows up in a
contract after this, this incident will be remembered. If Mutts and
Moms is successful in the theft of this dog, many people will walk
away, many pets will not be adopted, and many innocent animals will
be slaughtered just because the people over at Mutts and Moms got
away with barging into someone's house and stealing their pet.Please,
please, please stop linking the cheap tax-dodge and advertising gimmick
for Paw Boutique to legitimate animal rescue groups. Pet rescuers,
wake up! Stop protecting these criminals. This has nothing to do
with "following the rules". This has to do with abusing the rules,
the animal rescue system, and the faith of the pet loving public. If
the rescue community does not separate these issues, and separate
itself from Paw Boutique and Mutts and Moms, the public will not
either. There is much more at stake here than one dog or one family.
The lives of thousands of innocent animals over the years that follow
this incident hang in the balance. Rescue groups, what do you care
more about, the animals you want to help or the rules you have put in
place to help them? Don't let one unethical band of psychos use you
to hide behind. Don't let Mutts and Moms damage the reputation of
all rescue groups across the country. Don't let Mutts and Moms kill
thousands of innocent pets over the years that follow because no one
trusts animal rescue groups anymore.

39. I think Ellen is selling the drama, I just chose not to buy it. Think she cares more about Michelle Rodriguez than poor little Ruby. That says to me she wants to push her "other" cause not the cause of animals. A furball has lodged in Ellen's conscience.

There were movies called Black Dog and Angel Rodriguez how ironic.

42. If Mr. Fink is such a good attorney he should advise his clients to clear up their status with the Secretary of State. Until that happens, they can't operate their business in the state of California. I don't believe their contract with Ellen (or anyone else) is legal. Nor do they have the right to be "rescuing" animals.

43. I am glad that this situation was brought to light by being inflicted upon a celebrity. At least we can all see to what shoddy lengths some so called animal rescue organizations will go to. By there own admission, they did not properly screen Ellen, they neglected proper application procedures, they did not properly evaluate the other family to rectify the situation, and the entered there home under false premises and stole Tangible personal property of Ellen . I am sure Mr. Keith Fink will explain to M & M that animals even under contract are Tangible personal property.

Ellen admitted to making a mistake and was not granted any leniency for her errors. Thus Moms and Mutts set the standard, they deserve no leniency for theirs. It is a shame, for now they have done irreparable damage to the reputations of many very reputable rescue organizations.

Having stated my opinion, It is not right for anyone to harass these women and treaten them. This is a legal situation that can be handled in court. Poor Iggy is the victim of these rash decisions., and a victim of Marina and Vanessa's egos.
I hope that this will draw light to the very serious problems we have with homeless animals. I hope that new guidelines will be set into place to govern Rogue Pet rescues.
These ladies need to clean up there act and fast.
If you want to lend your support, I recommend doing so to organizations that have higher standards or to lend your support to local animal shelters. They are the true victims
