39. He had plastic surgery and the surgeon screwed up his face, very badly. Then he had complications due to the surgeon incompetents and almost lost his lips. He had many surgery's to try to have the surgeons mistakes fixed .
He didn't go out in the public for years because he was so ashamed of how he looked.
good for him for going out in public

And for reading gossip sites you people posting sure don't know much about things.
this is pretty basic gossip, he had a big interview on the subject.
it sounds like TMZ either didn't bother to do research, or just wanted to write a mean article.
