Britney: "I Just Want My Starbucks, Y'all!"

Starbucks-obsessed Britney Spears and her tag-along pal Sam Lufti went for some coffee in the Valley, where she had to learn from the paparazzi that her single is number one on the charts -- or at least on iTunes. You learn something new every day, y'all!

As Spears waited for Sam to deliver her caffeinated treat, she chatted up the paps -- all while keeping her lips covered. One photog tried to joke with her by asking, "What do you think about Britney Spears?" -- to which she responded, "That's mean!" A pap tried to blame the stupid question on TMZ, but for the record -- it wasn't us!

Since Lufti was taking his sweet time, Britney had to endure more questions -- about her new music video, what her kids are going to be for Halloween (pumpkins!) and expressed worry for her fire-endangered Malibu home, saying, "I don't think it's touched my house."

Good to see she's on top of the situation.

17. Tommy Lee ( another brainiac!) bought a whole Charred Bucks barrista coffee set up for his house. I think Brit could afford to do this, but then she misses valuable PR time. Maybe she had plastic lip-liners put on so she doesn't get them burned drinking hot coffee. Oh, 'Mrs. Devoted Wife' nice job on being 1st- idiot!

19. How unbelievably self-centered. Her only comment re: the fire is whether or not her own house is affected -- no concern WHATSOEVER about her neighbors. That's exactly how she acted when she did the hit & run a few weeks ago - "Is MY car OK????".

If she has that high a financial worth,odd she wasn't listed in Forbes' 100 Wealthiest Celebrities,where the cut-off point was $9 mil. Why would a multi-millionaire (according to you) appear in public with chipped,nibbled fingernails,and not have a manicurist make a house call? Ride around in a filthy car,when she could call someone to pick it up,detail it,and return it the same day? Money doesn't buy class,and never will.

28. As much as Britney screws up, and as much money as she makes, it's still a pity that media hounds her constantly. She can't even sit in the parking lot at Starbucks without getting harassed. Then again... that was a new Mercedes... and if I were her, I wouldn't have bought a convertible.
