Country Music Star's Malibu Home is Evacuated

Malibu resident and country music star Tanya Tucker was not in Malibu during the fire today -- but her 18-year-old daughter was.


Tucker is currently in Las Vegas, but called in to KCOP-TV in Los Angeles. Her daughter, Presley, had to be evacuated from the family home, along with Tanya's four dogs. Tanya said that her daughter described the scene in Malibu as "very chaotic."

She also said that all her stage clothes were in the residence and that firefighters had been "dumping water on our house" to try and save it.

1. For some reason, I don't equate Tanya Tucker and Malibu, but whatever. I hope she doesn't lose her clothes or her house and that all will be safe.

7. Tanya was never married to Glenn Campbell. They were engaged, and they broke off their relationship because both of them had tremendous cocaine habits. This was around 1980.

12. TMZ B*TCH #3: When Tanya Tucker was talking about, "clothes," she was talking about all the clothes she wears on stage, including what she wears on her feet on stage, which is stuff that is somewhat more irreplaceable than just street or evening wear.
