Cops: Kid Rock Served Ass Whuppin' at Waffle House

Kid Rock was arrested in Atlanta early this morning after allegedly getting into a brawl at a Waffle House in DeKalb County -- not exactly the VMAs!

As first reported by FOX 5 News/Atlanta, Rock, real name Robert Ritchie, and five members of his entourage were each taken into custody on a misdemeanor charge of simple battery.

According to the report, Kid Rock stopped at the Waffle House at 5:15 AM on Sunday after performing that evening. A customer allegedly recognized a woman who was with Kid, they exchanged words, and that escalated into a fight in the parking lot.

According to myfoxatlanta.com, the customer was charged with one felony count of second degree criminal damage to property -- allegedly for smashing a window. The window damage was estimated at more than $500 -- which constitutes a felony in the state of Georgia.

Kid posted bond at about 5:00 PM and left DeKalb County jail, signing autographs for fans as he made his way back to his tour bus.

66. So let's see...Kid Rock picks up some groupie in Atlanta, then being the class act that he is takes her to Waffle House. Whatever. But then on the heels of coming out looking like the good guy in the VMA fight with Tommy Lee is redneck enough to bust out a window at Waffle House over her???????? What little respect I had left for the guy just went out the window. I think it's time for him to grow up and realize that he is a father and quite frankly, WELL PAST the age of being considered a "grown-up". How about learning to act like it for a change?? What the hell did Sheryl Crow ever see in him any way????

69. Maybe people should let their KIDS throw some ROCKS at this guy. How old is this guy anyway? Maybe in his late 60's? Even if he looks too old for his age. It is a shame that
a grown man would be involved in these kind of things. What and idiot, I hope they put him away for a while.

Masquedance, (#70): He sure picked the right name for himself, didn't he? Yes, he is a kid alright, but an awfully big one who is going to hurt somebody badly one of these days.
I don't mean to imply that he such a bad ass; rather, he has a very bad temper and it's frightening to think what he might do in a rage.
Also, he's looking very bulked up - I wonder if he's on steroids, hence, these explosive episodes occurring so close together (Tommy Lee and now this). Or was he always such a hot head?
As for Sheryl Crowe, well, she seems to have a history of picking men who have problems. I wonder if Sheryl had an alcoholic and/or abusive father; this could contribute to her picking men who need mothering, men who can give her nothing but a weird, wired, negative kind of energy along with a daily dose of grief. Of course, that's another topic entirely.
