In this aerial shot, you can clearly see a beach home in flames -- literally right on the beach.
thank you #13 for explaining something to #6. No matter if you're rich, poor, famous, "normal," losing your home is tragic and a heart-wrenching, devastating experience. who are you to say that a burn-downed house is only a profit to the rich??? can you really be that insensitive?
Obvious jealousy from the less talented who think the loss of a home doesn't matter if you're wealthy. I'm sure wealthy people have sentimental items the same as we all have. Money can't always replace everything. Duh! I sure hope Cher's place doesn't get affected!!! Be safe Babe!
Why haven't they used the DC-10 waterbombing aircraft on this fire that will squelch 12 football fields in area of fire in one water drop?-Ed Nemechek-760-246-8059
I HATE THE DAMNED KIM KARWHOEVERSHEIS POP UP. Get it the hell off the screen, TMZ. Pushing her in my face does not make me want to watch that show.
To: mrogi:
and you are a non-person.......what kind of idiot are you? These are still people who are losing their homes and personal possessions that can't ever be replaced. Have you ever been to Malibu? Not everyone is a multi-millionaire or billionaire that lives there. Regardless of how wealthy they may or may not be, the fact remains that nobody wants to lose their home or contents to a fire.......You have no heart or soul..........and it sounds like you are just jealous of their wealth.......
Hopefully everyone gets out safely and nobody gets hurt............
Fire in Malibu what a surprise. Wait until they raise OUR fire insurance rates to cover their losses.
Some of your comments are really sad. I don't care if these people are billionaires and if they are insured to the hilt and can re-build or not. These homes are just that, peoples homes. They have things that money can't replace, pictures, memories! Just because you're rich, you don't have feelings or emotions. No wonder the world is in the mess it is, no one has empathy for anyone but themselves, it is really, really sad.
My son lives in Malibu. To those that think that everyone who lives there is a millionaire : Hog Wash! I pray along with my family and friends not only for my son's safety, but for all of those residents' safety. I also pray that the Santa Ana winds die down so that the firemen's fights are not in vain. May God Bless everyone in the fire's path.
Thank you for this space to share my feelings and concerns.
Ditto to everything that Lee Ann has posted at 5:59. My son lives in Malibu, and he is no millionaire, but is a hard worker and lives modestly. He and his dog are happy! I pray that God will protect him as well as the other residents that are in harm's way. I also pray that the Santa Ana winds die down, to not only give the firemen a break, but so that their hard work is not in vain. May God Bless you all on the west coast!
WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU IDIOTS!
It's not about Brittney or Millionaires...It's about human beings losing their homes and everything that is near and dear to them. I lived in Malibu for 13 years and I was working paycheck to paycheck working in a Bank. Unless you live through it, you will never know the helpless, terrified feeling one has when a fire is do close. You don't know what to grab first.
Have a heart...not only homes but a church was lost...Pray to God, you will never be placed in this position.
you stupid insensitive morons!
don't you realize there are human beings there! there are helpless pets. firefighters are giving their all and are being injured.
janitorial staff, cafeteria staff, people just like you and me are there you idiots!
i'm a broke single mom but my daughter and many like her on scholarship are trapped in a college there.
stop your rude thoughtless comments and get on your knees and pray for their safety!
Well, so much for ever using this site again. That damn phone add on top of the story is just going too far. Idiots.
Britney Spears might miss a lot more 'X Factor' auditions ... because she can! Simon Cowell gave Brit damn near free reign in order to sign the pop star to that $15 million deal -- but is it backfiring? We'll tell you what peeps on the set are saying.Plus, Chris Jericho's…
