When Malibu Castle Kashan burned to the ground yesterday, Princess Lilly Lawrence lost her home, family heirlooms, jewelry and presidential memorabilia -- but she did manage to save the King's pants.
TMZ has learned that one of the few things the Princess was able to salvage from the castle was a pair of Elvis Presley's Army fatigues. But she did lose her other Elvis memorabilia -- including 32 original Elvis Presley movie scripts with his handwritten notes in the margins.

(Page 3 of 3) Previous 15 Comments | 1 | 2 | 3This really is a shame because anyone living in So. Cal should be prepared for this. We have bad fires nearly every 2 years or so and the last big Malibu fire should have been a warning. I know we learned our lesson. Everything of value is stored in a fire proof box and an evacuation plan in place. The owners of this castle had ample warning so I'm not sure why not more things were saved. Its a terrible loss though but I'm glad no human life was lost.
That 'castle' was frigging ugly. I'd never heard of it, so I googled and saw the photos. Yikes. Now that it's burned to the ground, whomever bought it will build something grand on that property (perhaps what the new owner was going to do anyway).
