"Lost" star Michelle Rodriguez wants to make sure the facts aren't lost! She likes to party -- no question about that -- but she's doing it clean! TMZ has the exclusive on results of several drug tests the actress underwent last week, confirming that her blood was indeed free of any trace of drugs or alcohol.

Celeb blogger Perez Hilton published a story saying he personally saw Rodriguez "pAArtying hard" at Teddy's at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel and "kept going to the bathroom (to powder her nose)." Rodriguez was unhappy with the report, and visited her doctor to request testing. She was tested for meth, cocaine, marijuana, opiates, alcohol and other things. No drugs were detected! "She is not a drug addict and she doesn't even drink anymore," said a close friend of M-Rod's to TMZ.

Our cameras caught the actress at the opening of Diablo's Cantina in Las Vegas recently, where our spies tell us she was drinking only water all night long!

Rodriguez is currently in New Zealand filming her next movie, James Cameron's "Avatar." She is due back in L.A. in December, when she will serve 180 days in L.A. County Jail for violating her probation on a variety of crimes, including DUI and hit and run. She must report to Lynwood Jail -- the same one that housed Paris Hilton for 23 days -- by December 24.

46. Blood tests don't mean a thing. Blood only is dirty for 48 hours. Not many people know that. Do a urine test or hair test to detect drug use.

47. Michelle can't sue Perez for libel. She's a public figure, so she'd have to show he knowingly or recklessly disregarded the truth. He said she was "pAArtying hard" (he uses the same "AA" spelling for everyone), which doesn't mean she was using drugs or drinking. She probably is in AA (or should be, based on her repeated arrests). He also said she was going to the bathroom frequently (could be accurate and entirely innocent) to powder her nose (a common, old-fashioned euphemism for using the bathroom). If she sued, a judge would dismiss the complaint at the start.

49. the intention of his comments were clear. past examples of such vocab and what he means by it could easily be pulled up which would show his "knowing" disregard for truth. id say between this and the time he said flat out she came out to curve magazine (when she never even did an interview with them) they have plenty of grounds for libel. if sam ronson can sue him for libel/slander with only he said/she said then michelle and co. can certainly sue given they have physical proof of his lies.

and "Lab Tech", blood is the best way to detect it. you can read wikipedia all day but the truth is that that is the best and longest lasting way to tell, next to hair testing anyway. hair is better, but takes longer to get results. drugs stay in blood long than urine, despite popular belief. not sure what lab you work in but top toxicology specialists in major cities and police officers training both states this as true. that's why if you go to the hospital with an injury or illness and they have suspicions, they can do a tox screen using blood. and so long as it's done within 96 hours, it will show any drugs or alcohol in your system. thats how they can tell what you are on and how to treat you.

56. Please do your research factslayer. Urine holds drugs the longer than blood which is why urine is done more often. Blood is good to tell what drugs you are currently on but not drug use longer than 48 hours. I work for one of the largest laboratories in the country doing diagnostic testing. This is one of the first things you learn in this field.
