Samba-dy Help! Osmond Collapses on "Dancing"

Just moments after Marie Osmond busted out an intense samba routine, she hit the dance floor even harder -- passing out cold on tonight's live broadcast of "Dancing with the Stars."


As the judges stared in shock, host Tom Bergeron kept his composure and quickly threw to commercial while Osmond was sprawled out on the floor.

But all concerns were eased after the break, when Marie was up and moving around backstage. According to Bergeron, the first thing Marie said when she came to was, "Oh crap."

Osmond then explained her breakdown on camera, saying, "Once in a while it happens to me ... I stop breathing. I'm so sorry." Uh, might wanna get that checked out.

No sympathy points from the judges -- Osmond only scored 21 out of a possible 30 points.

5. Ok You kids that email these comments, GIVE US MILF'S A BREAK. I am 52 and look 40 and like Marie would probably need mouth to mouth after dancing the way they do. I say HOORAY FOR MARIE. She works hard and you know what, the votes or judges probably do not matter to her, what matters to us is the feel good feeling we have for ourselve. The feeling of raising children and still being able to kick in and have lots of fun. In other words, kiddies, it is the feeling of feeling good after you have worked really hard.

7. um she hit hard! i feel bad for her that she had to do it infront of 20 million people!!! she seemed like she didnt feel good 1/2 way through the dance! poor marie needs to start taking better care of herself!

15. That's syncope caused by cariac arrythmia. Medicate it and you live, chalk it up to the 1800's "women faint" thinking and you die. Having it while you're exercising, vs. at rest, is a particularly bad sign and one of the 1st things they try to rule out with treadmill tests and a holter monitor. Sad. She has serious, potentially fatal symptoms and is doing what many women her age were told to do - ignore it - before the great strides in diagnosis and treatment of the last 10 years.
